Drop forging of flange
Bednář, Jaroslav ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The aim of the project developed within the framework of the Bachelor's degree in Institute of Manufacturing Technology is the design of the production of a flange forging by die forging from alloy structural steel 14 220 (1. 7131). Size of production is set on 100 000 pieces per year. Based on calculations, the LMZ 4000 vertical forging press with a forming force of 40 MN is selected for production. Three production operations are selected for a given production. Forging dies are designed using an ejector. The material of the dies is alloy instrumental steel 19 552.8 (1. 2343). At the end of the project, a technical and economic evaluation is carried out where a price comparison and costs for the production of die forging and machining are given.
Drop forging of pinion
Kameník, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
KAMENÍK Tomáš: Drop forging of pinion The project has been elaborated within the framework of studies of the subject B 2307 and it presents the lay-out of the technology of the forging – the pinion which is made as the drop forging from the material 14 220. The rougher and the finishing forging die were suggested on the bases of the literature study of the drop forging. In consideration of the big series /100 000 pieces/ and the calculated forging power /25MN/ the component will be made on the vertical forging press LZK 2500P/SH (the manufacturer ŠMERAL Brno a.s.). At the end of the thesis there are performed calculations of the technical and economic evaluation.
Drop forging of gear wheel
Bradáč, Tomáš ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This master´s thesis submit a project of technology of production of gear wheel the way of drop forging. A part is made of steel 14 220.0 (16MnCr5). A semi-product is a stick of parametres o75 - 211 ČSN EN 10060, with a production of 130 000 pieces a year. Technological process of drop forging are worked up based on a study presented in technical literature. A forging will be working up on a vertical forging press LMZ 1600 A made in Šmeral Brno, Inc. For this option, the required technological calculation, drawing documentation and forming process simulation which is implemented by way of the software FormFEM have been carried out. Technical and economical evaluation of the component technology producing is brought in as a conclusion of the thesis.
Manufacturing of mudguard holder using forging technology
Ondráček, Miroslav ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Šlais, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with problems of drop forging. A detailed literary study is prepared in this work, in which there are data for working out the specified component – mudguard holder. There are options for cutting the semi-product, types of lubricants, construction of ideal preform or different kinds of forging machines for drop forging. The next part of this thesis is about technology of drop forging on crank forging presses. This section is aimed on technical drawing of the forging and its classification by the complexity of the shape. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the economic part, setting out the individual costs of the production from which the cost price of a forging is determined.
Production of carrying body by solid forming
Dvořák, Jan ; Streid, Jan (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis has been elaborated within the Master's study that submits a production proposal of carrying body by solid forming. The forging has been performed using drop orging method at the crank forging press LZK 1000. Heating is inductive and flash trimming has been peformed in the trimming press LKOA 200. The used material of the forging is steel CSN 14 220. Production series is 100 000 pieces. A part of this thesis is calkulations, geometric design and economical evaluation.
Production of supporting holder by solid forming
Kopecký, Martin ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis has been elaborated within the Master's study of department 2307 that submits a production proposal of supporting holder by solid forming. The used material of the forging is steel ČSN 12050 with yearly production of 100 000 pieces. The forging has been performed using drop forging method by two operations at the crank forging press LZK 1000, with induction heating of semi-finished product and flash trimming at the trimming press LKOA 200. For this method have been performed required technological calculations, geometric design of the die and assigning production machines needed for this technology. A part of this study is an economical evaluation where have been stated production expenses and prices of the forging of assigned component.
Drop forging of pinion
Cvrček, Jan ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The final project has been elaborated in a frame of Bachelor’s studies branch Manufacturing technology assesses design of production pinion by method of die forging. The pinion is manufactured from alloyed structural steel 14 220 (1.7131). Size of production is set on 100 000 pieces per year. The pinion will be forged on the vertical forging press LMZ 1000 A with forming force 10 MN. The forging is formed in two operations. Forming tool is manufactured from alloyed instrumental steel 19 552 (1.2343). In the last chapter of the project is described the price comparison and costs for manufacture of die forging and machining.
Production of shifting carrier by solid forming
Martinovský, Peter ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Kopřiva, Miloslav (advisor)
The Project elaborated in frame of bachelor’s studies submit a presents of technology of shifting carrier the way of drop forging. Based on literary study of the issue of solid forming and calculations was made optimal technological solution entered production parts. A forging will be working up on a vertical forging press LMZ 1600 A made in Šmeral Brno, Inc. A part is made of steel ČSN 41 2020. Production is 100 000 pieces a year. Design of wheel hub production
Zahálka, Tomáš ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was to propose a possible way of production for a wheel hub on the front axle of VAZ 2101 made out of steel 12 050. Based on the accesible technologies was selected a volume thermoforming technology, specifically drop forging for its positive impact on mechanical features of forging. Construction of the die cnforms to the norm ČSN 22 8308 with closed spout groove. The forging is done by a hammer KHZ 8A, with an impact energy of 80 kJ. Dies, upper and lower, made of tool steel 19 552, tempered to 54 HRC.
