Krejčová, Lucie ; Šíma, Jan (advisor) ; Ruda, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Correlation of evaluation criteria of non-investment programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on the example of Czech Badminton Union Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the degree of dependence of the evaluation criteria of national sports associations on the amount of funds received from the non-investment programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Methods: In this thesis was used a method of analysis of secondary data, namely documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech Badminton Union. For the calculations in the practical part of this thesis was used correlation and regression analysis. The MS Office Excel tools were used to determine the correlation coefficients - Regression function and then the Solver function to predict model situations. Results: For all the evaluation criteria surveyed in this thesis, the positive dependence to income of Czech Badminton Union was confirmed. The increase in the membership base, the number of national team players or the number of players included in regional youth training centres cause the increase of volume of financial contributions received from the non-investment programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The most significant value was measured by the...
Financial risks with copulas
Prelecová, Natália ; Hurt, Jan (advisor) ; Zichová, Jitka (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the thorough description of the copula theory. It deals with the theory's basic definitions, classes and characteristics. In addition, relations between copulas and dependence measures are explained. Furthermore, we evaluate the possibilities of copula's parametres estimation and selecting the right copula for real data. Then, the copula theory is interconnected with the basic risk measures in finance. We describe the elementary categorization of financial risks and standard risk measurement approaches. We also define basic risk measures with the emphasis on value at risk. Lastly, we present a real data case study of a selected portfolio.

Ondráčková, Petra ; Doležalová, Pavla (advisor) ; Nevoralová, Monika (referee)
Barriers to accessing treatment for women with alcohol dependence Petra Ondráčková, bachelor's thesis Abstract Background: Women's alcoholism has generally greater negative impact on women's health, their family and children and therefore it is less tolerated by society and alcohol dependent women are more condemned than men. Women's drinking is negatively perceived by the lay as well as the specialized public thanks to many stereotypes making dependent women's situation worse. Many women stay anonymous because they are afraid to seek specialized help. During treatment from alcohol dependence it is necessary - especially for women - to work with barriers stopping effective treatment. Objective: Main goal of this research was to find out barriers to accessing treatment for women with alcohol dependence. Partial goal of this thesis was an effort to point out to stigmatization of female population using addictive substances in comparison with the male one, which is definitely one of the main reasons why women less often have courage for stepping out from anonymity and using offered services. Methodology: Questionnaire-based research was conducted among patients undergoing treatment from November 2014 to March 2015 at toxic-rehabilitative ward of Psychiatric Hospital Kroměříž where eighty female clients...

Budinská, Blanka ; Richterová-Těmínová, Martina (advisor) ; Kuda, Aleš (referee)
This bachelor work deals with the relations between traumatic experiences in childhood, deficient or dysfunctional family environment and the possible future development of addictive behaviors in women. It turns out that the experience of traumatic events in childhood can cause long-term and sometimes irreversible problem completely. These problems may be based on the circumstances involved in the future addictive behaviors. Based on the stories I have from women in residential treatment or after treatment heard with their consent and also due to the processing of information which I received, I find role in their next life and behavior should or could have this traumatic experience in their childhood.
Molecular physiology of opioid receptors
Valný, Martin ; Novotný, Jiří (advisor) ; Hejnová, Lucie (referee)
The opioid receptors (OR) belong to the family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). ORs mediate the effects of the opioids, leading primarily to inhibition of neuroexcitability, predominantly through the class of the inhibitory G proteins Gi/Go. Cloning of ORs confirmed the existence of four subtypes of ORs, which mediate effects of different classes of opioid ligands. The major aim of this work is to summarize the current knowledge about characteristics and function of ORs at the molecular level. Acute exposition of ORs to their agonists results in activation of the signaling cascades that trigger mechanisms leading to analgesia. Chronic exposition of ORs to their agonists leads to desensitization and internalization of the receptors and induces adaptive changes in signal transduction system that suppresses the opioid action, and may result in the development of opioid tolerance and dependence. Although a big progress has been made in the field of understanding the molecular mechanisms of the OR-mediated signaling, there are still a lot of unresolved questions that are necessary to answer.

The theoretical basis of this work is taken on the basis of theory to define the impact of education, social exclusion and other factors that describe toluene abuser. The main part of the text focuses on case studies, which described the tendency to abuse toluene. This is particularly true for people from socially excluded localities. Observation of toluene abuser, phase of his addiction and devastation, however, do not belong to the main objective of this work. It focuses mainly on the perception of drug abuse toluene as the risk-generation potential abuser (primary and practical schools) in connection with the approach of the teachers also addresses this issue. Despite the danger, however, with peers who abuse toluene, and especially for the older generation of this volatile substance to be considered harmless fun. This fact stands out in the context of intravenous heroin and methamphetamine, contrary to the public clearly terrified. Based on data that are collected by questionnaire survey, this work gives the parties determine the perception of toluene in the vicinity of the abuser. Research is also focused on the effectiveness of the activities of primary prevention of abuse of volatile substances...
