Basic Characteristics of the Current Pension Reform in the Czech Republic
Coufal, Vojtěch ; Poláková, Olga (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
The Czech Republic as well as the whole of Europe is struggling with a significant aging of the population. As a result of this unfavorable demographic development, the state pension system is becoming financially unsustainable. In this context, there have been discussions about the need for a pension reform at both professional and political level for more than 15 years now. This bachelor thesis provides a comprehensive view of this issue. The essential theoretical framework consists of the classification of pension systems and the characteristics of the Czech pension security. As an analysis of the demographic development, this work shows a need for a comprehensive systemic change. The thesis outlines reform options based largely on the conclusions of the two of Bezděk commissions. The paper analyzes changes in the Czech pension system, focusing on both small and large pension reform. Subsequently, the suitability of the changes and their fiscal and social impact, are evaluated.

Stability of pension system in the Czech Republic in coherence with pension reform
Möstl, David ; Krebs, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kubelková, Karina (referee)
Hardly anyone doubt about the necessity of pension reform nowadays. Opinions how to process the reform differs considerably. The main point of my work is to evaluate preferability of so called opt-out (partial release of financial sources from system based on continuous contribution into fund system) for various income and age groups in order to find out that such measures will not fundamentally threaten stability of pension system in the Czech Republic. Reform changes of pension reform of chosen EU countries are to be characterized in my thesis. I will also evaluate possibilities of aplication of foreign experience in the Czech Republic. The basic methods will be above all the analysis of questionnaire results, mathematical and statistical methods and method of international comparation.

taking personal responsibility in the area of securing pensions in the Czech Republic
Möstl, David ; Kubelková, Karina (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
In this bachelor thesis, I will be concerned with problems of pensions in the Czech Republic, and in particular of developing one's own capital for pension. At the present time it is a highly discussed topic that is often debated in different media and consulted by prominent experts. Main objective of this thesis is to find out how young people accept their personal responsibility in the area of securing their future income and what role therein is played by factors like age, education, income etc. The method of work is an analysis of the results of a questionnaire enquiry and creation of economical-political recommendations. The opening part attends to the basic characteristics of pension systems, their division and comparison. The second part answers the question why these problems are current, how the state wants to solve them, what subjects, mostly in public administration, deal with their solutions and what their conclusions are. The following part deals with possibilities to prepare capital for pension by one's own means and their comparison in terms of their efficiency for the person. The final part of the thesis analyses my own questionnaire enquiry on this subject.

Slavíčková, Aneta ; Abrhám, Josef (advisor) ; Jiránková, Martina (referee)
My thesis describes social policy of EU and compares social models of three countries - Germany, Denmark and Great Britain. I divided my work into five parts. In the first one I concentrate on history, tools and function of social policy. In other four parts I pay attention to employment policy, educational policy, pension systems and to poverty and social exclusion. In all these parts of social policy I compare activities of those three countries mentioned above.
