Concept of optimal solution of industrial process in firm ORTHOPOM bratři Škodové, spol. s r.o.
Silný, Robert ; Chlud, Karel (referee) ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (advisor)
Master´s thesis is focused on problems of optimizing of industry processes. Main objective was to analyze a company and project a improvement of industry process with costs saving. In the first part are recapitulated a generic knowledge about approaches of improving of industry processes. Second part is engaged in analyze of company ORTHPOM bratři Škodové spol. s r.o.. In the fine chapter is presented concept of revisions in industry process and possibilities of other optimalizations.
Cyclic acceleration method for electrical machines measurement
Ředina, Ondřej ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the cyclic acceleration method of measuring and loading electrical machines. The thesis contains a description of the measuring method and processing of measured data. The application of the method was realized in the company AVL Moravia s. r. o. The processing of the measured data in the form of a sine wave was performed in the MATLAB program. At the end of the thesis are summarized the inaccuracies of measurements and following optimization of this method.
Accumulation of energy in compressed air
Rešiliáno, Tomáš ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the principle and issues associated with operation of the storage power stations, known under the acronym CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage). Examples of existing and upcoming CAES power stations from commercial sphere are listed and described there. The paper also includes an overview of basic CAES station wiring diagrams and a simplified calculation is performed to compare the efficiency of the chosen diagrams. In the final part of the thesis there is a scheme of so-called adiabatic CAES designed and calculated. For this type of device has been designed suitable wiring and a thermodynamic calculation of the cycle was performed for the purpose of evaluation.
Draft of Changes Identity Management System in a Firm
Vokálek, Vojtěch ; Makara, Vladimír (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The subject of the Master thesis is to explore the integration of Identity Management System with the Information Security Management System based on theoretical knowledge and analysis of the current situation. Notify the company to gaps and make proposals for improvement.
Do you know what a fish will do when it runs up a hill?
Elznic, Zita ; Štroblová, Kateřina (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
Diploma thesis entitled Do you know what a fish will do when it runs up a hill? concerns the topic of industrial fishing. Formally, it is an installation that contains two parts. The first part is an oval object on which are attached mechanical fish, which form a moving flock. Using engines, they interact with each other and the viewer accompanied by the song. The second part includes three separate mechanical fish, which create a direct dialogue with the viewer. The installation is located in a white cube. The result is to give the impression that the fish are alive and, with the help of a human voice, get closer to the viewer. Title Do you know what a fish does when it runs up a hill? based on a child's joke. This sentence is characteristic of the topic, in that it is all nonsense. The fish do not run, do not move on land and do not even talk. An attempt at this joke to humanize fish is quickly over when you know the answer. Just clapping tells us how foreign this different world is.
Proposal for the new concept of assembling water ventilation systems of thermoregulation of a motor at an assembly line
Krátký, Lukáš ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is processing of the design of the assembly line for assembling of water ventilation systems of thermoregulation of an engine. The proposal is comprised of determination of the line cycle time, required number of workers and a creation of three possible options of assembly line solution. The final variant will be chosen by using a multi-criterion evaluation.
Historical development of rocket engines
Šima, Dávid ; Dubnický, Lukáš (referee) ; Petrásek, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is dealing with the historic development of rocket engines and their use on rocket carriers. The work is divided into eight parts. The first part describes the principle of operation of reactive motion and derivation of the Ciolkovskij equation. The second part describes historical development from ancient China to the period before World War II. The fourth part describes the Second World War and especially the missile development in Germany during the war. The fifth part describes mainly rocket engines use in space research of the USA, Russia, Japan, the European Space Agency, India and China. The sixth part describes rocket engines of private companies which were founded in the early 21. century. The seventh part describes aerospike rocket engines and the last part describes physical engines.
Steam Engine
Koutník, Štěpán ; Nedoma, Jiří (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis focuses on a steam engine. At first the thesis describes its historical evolution, applications and parts. Consequently, the thermodynamic cycle of the steam engine is analysed. The second part deals with modern applications of the steam engine in automotive industry and others.
CIRCULATION
Bartošová, Zuzana ; Vlasák, Robert (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
The diploma project Circulation tries to solve the problem of repeating cycles. It is an object with organic shape, created from a tube with light circulation on it. This object is based on idea of human constantly repeating actions and processes, whether they refer to the human body and mind, nature or society. The object is created site-specifically in to the gallery (Brno Gallery OFF/FORMAT) and tries to fill the space. The line passing through the gallery space can be seen as a route or path, but it can also remind a movement without a clear goal, or go around in circles. The omnipresent cycle, is then an individual contribution to the whole and it can be presented as a irregular curve full of dramatic twists and turns, ups and downs. The light (made by digital LED strip), which constantly copies the organic shape of the tube, represents an endless flow of information. The object tries to point out the never ending circulations in our lives; the object does not solve the problem, it is rather a statement.
Super-heated steam cycles
Uherek, Jan ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is to present new, highly efficient thermal cycles used in power plants, and to compare them with classical cycles. First, the impact of these cycles on the efficiency of electricity production is examined. The following section describes power plants where the supercritical technology has been successfully installed. The last section explains the calculation of the heat transfer surface. The conclusion of this thesis attempts to outline the future of energetics from the author´s point of view.
