Práce se zabývá technologií parního stroje. Nejdříve je popsán historický vývoj, užití v praxi a jeho součásti. Následně se práce zaměřuje na cyklus parního stroje, který je zde zanalyzován. Druhá část pojednává o moderním využití parního stroje jak v automobilním průmyslu, tak mimo něj. The thesis focuses on a steam engine. At first the thesis describes its historical evolution, applications and parts. Consequently, the thermodynamic cycle of the steam engine is analysed. The second part deals with modern applications of the steam engine in automotive industry and others.
