The Bachelor thesis focuses on cost management in an energy company Adavak, s.r.o. Thesis is composed of theoretical and analytical part and of the proposals of the thesis. The theoretical part explains basic concepts and analyses, which are further used in the thesis. The analytical part describes the company and the calculation method and system for the production and sale of thermal energy. Final part of the thesis is focused on the proposals of the thesis, which are based on the analytical part and cost modelling. This part addresses planned increase in the volume of thermal energy sales, and its effects on price and costs.

Theoretical knowledge is applied to the issue in the specific company. In the last part it is shown the summary of practical part containing several suggestions to minimize costs in the company.

The topic of my thesis is overhead costs in a construction company. The theoretical part of the thesis explains what is a construction company, what types of costs are, how costs are managed and what calculation methods are used. In the practical part is characterized the analyzed company. The style in which a company manages and calculates overhead costs. After this is created another way of calculating overhead costs, application of this method to the actually performed contract and then there is compare of both methods. At the end of the practical part is the evaluation.

Optimalization of Financing of the Selected Company - Cost Management

The subject of this bachelor thesis is analysis of the cost management of a particular enterprise. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The purpose of the theoretical part is describing the subject matter and familiarizing with key terms and with the methodology of analysis of the cost management. The practical part is then focused on analysis of the current state of cost management in the enterprise ALDO Metal s.r.o which is a manufacturing company focused on custom manufacture of metal parts and units. In conclusion the overall results of the analysis are evaluated and the author outlines improvement proposals and recommendations to improve the cost management in this enterprise.

Cost management in the Construction Company Using Management Accounting

The theme of the thesis is „Cost Management in the Construction Company Using Management Accounting.“ Its aim is to define management accounting and to point out its options, as part of cost management. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the construction company, the cost management and the description of the individual managerial accounting subsystems. The practical part deals with the description of the current state of the cost management model and its individual components in a selected construction company. At the end of the thesis, there are presented suggestions for application of the improved cost management model within the management accounting, for more efficient cost management.

The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to assemble and optimize calculation formula of SEEIF Ceramic, a. s. The theoretical part is a summary of knowledge gathered from literature sources, which focus on topics critical for assembling calculation formula, and describes calculation methods. The practical part introduces company SEEIF Ceramic, a. s., depicts its current calculation formula and the method which was used to achieve it. Furthermore, describes how it is implemented into the company’s informational system. And proposes changes in the calculations which could prove beneficial for the company.
