Horváth, Zsolt ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Today's photo browsers are no longer only browsers. Everyday are invented new innovations such as sharing photos on the Internet, on social networks or 3D vizualization. Our aim was to test a new 3D views which does not yet exists, to compare with the existing and test good and bad sides of designed solutions. Application was created with the support of the four views, two existing and two new, using the OpenSceneGraph in C++. The solution is based on the principle of attraktors, magnets, that attracts each photo according to specified parameters. Application tried eight people. Everyone got their tasks, which had to do and after that complete the questionnaire. These tasks have been derived information on usability, intuitive and efficiency. The result showed that the existing solution are more efficient, but efficiency decreased with more the number of photos. The existing solutions were twice more efficient with smaller number of photos.
Madagascar stem succulents, protected by CITES, in collections in the Czech Republic
KOUPAL, Vít
The bachelor thesis focused on review of representation of Madagascar-based stalk succulent plants as one of the main groups of collection plants under protection of CITES in the selected collections in the Czech Republic. The collections under monitoring were Botanic Garden of Natural Science Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, Botanic Garden Libverda Děčín, Botanic Garden Liberec, Zoological and Botanic Garden of Plzeň City, Botanic Garden of Prague Capital City, Botanic Garden Teplice and a selected private collection. Data about representation of monitored herbal species were taken based on personal visit and provided lists. Florius registration programme was used for completion of data. Review of the species diversity based on representation of families showed dominant representation of Euphorbiaceae family followed by important representations of Apocynaceae and Didiereaceae families. The species of Madagascar-based stalk succulent plants registered in Appendix I and II of the latest CITES list were represented in approximately equal proportion in majority of the collections. The exceptions were two collections (Botanic Garden Liberec and private collection) with higher representation of species from Appendix I. From the point of species composition, the collections of Zoological and Botanic Garden of Plzeň City, Botanic Garden of Prague Capital City, and the private collections significantly differentiated from the other collections.

Prokůpek, Marek ; Tyslová, Irena (advisor) ; Janištinová, Anna (referee)
The aim of my diploma thesis is the exploration of the fine arts presentation options and methods with a focus on contemporary fine arts in context of the museums of art. The main terms concerning the topic are defined in my work prior to the main research of the museums of art and the presentation of fine arts. In the beginning of my work the reader can familiarize himself with the historical development of art museums from its genesis until the present form of this institution. Following the research part I am explaining the main aspects relevant to the presentation of fine arts, such as the spatial character of art museums and the evolution of its design. One part of my work is focused on a role of curator, who is a very important figure in the presentation of fine arts. The main basis of art museum are its art collections, which are transformed into long-term exhibitions. On the other hand, the museum should also manage the production of temporary exhibitions which plays an essential role in the presentation of fine arts in the last few decades. The methods and technique of installations are no less important for the presentation. All these aspects are described in my diploma thesis and supported by concrete examples from various museums. In the last part of my work, the theoretical thesis are applied on a specific example of an institution with the largest art collection in our country - Veletržní palác.
