A case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosed with cervicobrachial syndrome

Barbora Pyšková Thesis title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosed with cervicobrachial syndrome Thesis goal: The goal of the thesis is to summarize theoretical and methodological basis of the cervicobrachial syndrome and to describe their use in the rehabilitation of a patient with this diagnosis. Methodological approach: The thesis is divided into two main sections, a general and a special one. The general section contains anatomical, biochemical a kinesiological knowledge related to vertebrogenic illnesses. Then, the description of cervicobrachial syndrome, its clinical symptoms, etiology and treatment options are presented. The special part is the core of the thesis. It was prepared on the basis of countinuous professional practice at the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague, from January 5 to 30, 2015. It consists of a detailed case report of a patient with cervicobrachial syndrome, offering history, input kinesiology analysis, short-term and long-term physiotherapic plan, the course of therapy, kinesiology exit examination and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Student with dyslexia at second grade of primary school

This bachelor thesis focuses on one of specific disorders of learning, namely the problem of dyslexia in second grade of primary school in relation to pupil self-concept. The practical part presents case studies of three girls and Q-technique as well as their self-image. The findings summarised in the concluding part may be useful for workers pedagogic-psychological counselling and for all those involved in the education of children with dyslexia.

Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of distorsio articularis talocruralis pedis l. dx gravis Summary: The aim of this thesis is to introduce readers to the topic of physiotherapy sessions at diagnosis ankle sprains. The general described the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot, with a focus on the ankle joint. Injuries of the ankle will focus on the distortion. It is here described mechanism of injury, classification, clinical presentation and diagnosis. The general conclusion of the thesis describes the methods and therapeutic procedures and physical therapy to help the patient to full recovery. A special part is prepared on the basis of patient case studies. They also described individual therapy in the treatment. Misuse of Drugs and Addictive Substances in the Old age

Anotation The aim of this thesis is to draw attention to the issue of medical drug and addictive substance abuse in the old age. It describes the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual changes and needs of the elderly which are often connected with the start of harmful use of medical drugs. It lists the substances which are most commonly abused in the old age and it demonstrates the theory by means of concrete casuistries. Overuse of and addiction to addictive substances is not investigated enough by either addictology, geriatrics or social work. The aim of this thesis is to discuss the whole problem area from the point of view of social work, which should be paying more attention to it.
Basal Stimulation in Occupation Therapy

Name of thesis: Basal stimulation in occupational therapy Aim: The aim of my thesis is to study the existing literature and find out, if there is any evidence, which can prove the effectivity of basal stimulation. Method: In theoretical part I focus on resources, which evaluate effectivity of basal stimulation. In the practical part I work with two patients. I have obtained the detailed information about patients by observation, consulting the documentation and interviewing with the patients' families. At the Clinic of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine I have worked on the casuistries under the leadership of the therapist Ms. Dvořáková. Result: Based on studying of the literature, I have found that the result of the research is especially the positive attitude of patients, but there is no proof that would confirm the effectivity of basal stimulation. In the general part is the frequency of occurrence of fracture, mechanism of injury and the theoretical method of treatment of this injury. There are describe all possible therapeutic methods and procedures manual and physical therapy, which contribute to the rapid and full recovery the patient with this problem. A special part is prepared on the basis of case studies selected patients. There is also an application of my choice of methods and techniques selected from the general part, which I used in therapy to achieve the best results. Author: Anna Šestáková Title: The case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total endoprothesis of the knee joint Objective: Main goal of this work is to present facts concerning total endoprothesis of the knee joint and to develop a casuistry of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with mentioned diagnosis. total knee replacement. Methods: Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - a general part and a special part. General part summarises the basic facts concerning the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint. This part also describes arthritic disease and its surgical treatment by implantation of total knee replacement. At the end of the general part, summary of the possibilities of physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with this diagnosis, is presented. The special part deals with a casuitry of a patient - woman -, which undertook the rehabilitation during my bachelor's internship at CLPA in October 2020. Moreover, this part consists of an initial kinesiological analysis, records of 6 therapeutic units, an output of kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with st. p. traumatic fracture of the right patella

Title: Casuistry of physiotherapeutic care of a patient diagnosed with st. p. traumatic fracture of right patella Objectives: Objective of the bachelor thesis is to get apprized with theoretical and practical knowledge of this diagnose and detailed elaboration of casuistry of the patient with mentioned diagnose and appreciation of effects of the therapy. Methods: The thesis consists of therotical and practical part. The theoretical part contains theoretical information about origin of the trauma, clinical picture of diagnosis, operational approaches, treatment options and subsequent care mostly. The practical care contains detailed casuistry of patient diagnosed st.p. traumatical fracture of right patella. A part of the casuistry is kinesiological analysis including an anamnesia, short-term and long-term care physiotherpeutical plan, detailed analysis of selected exercise sessions and output kinesiological analysis. This is followed by appreciation of the whole therapy and conclusion Results: The therapy went very succesfsully. General physical and mental state of the patient has improved greatly during a rehabilitaion.
