Model of synchronous PM machine based on equivalent reluctance network
Sporni, Peter ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
Táto práca pojednáva o problematike vytvárania a simulácie reluktančnej sieti synchrónneho stroja s V tvarovanými permanentnými magnetmi v programe PSpice. Neskôr nahradíme lineárne odpory reprezentujúce plechy nelineárnymi a počítame s precovnou teplotou permanentných magnetov. Potom porovnáme naše výsledky s FEM metódou počítanými hodnotami a vypočítame indukované napätie v jednej cievke stroja. Na záver vypočítame výkonovú a momentovú charakteristiku stroja.
The influence of eccentricity upon the radial forces in an induction motor
Formánek, Jakub ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to get familiar with the influence of radial forces in the induction machine. Induction motor is one of the most commonly used and most extended type of machine, therefore it is useful to detect the intensity of theese forces and their influence at operation of the machine. In this work ,radial forces are computed by the software simulation in ANSYS Maxwell. Models are created with help of module Rmxprt and finite elements method. These models are based on real induction motors with predefined size of eccentricity. In the final part we perform a measurement of deviations on the real machine using vibrometer.
Development of a new self-supporting insulation system with respect to dynamic stress
Machala, David ; Frajt, Daniel (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with suggestion of self-supporting insulating system that can be used for objects which insulating is more or less complicated. In this thesis are theoretically processed information about insulation systems while focus is on their structure, composition and principle of operation. Further, there is theoretically designed self-supporting insulating system which is practically built after theoretically composed testing for finding its basic properties. The most appropriate process of realization is formulated at the end after evaluation of the individual tests.
Noise sources of single phase induction motor
Knap, Zdeněk ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed to find sources of acoustic noise on a single-phase induction motors. Main focus is noise of electromagnetic origin and its actual connection to motor parameters. Noise frequencies are the key subjects of this work. Based on this literature research, it includes analysis of real single-phase induction motor in mathematical software MATLAB. In the end, there is a summary of rules for reduction of the noise caused by electromagnetic fields and list of dangerous frequencies for analyzed motor.
Verification of thermal-insulation properties of the foil materials
Šot, Petr ; TROJAN,, Karel (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with verification of thermal insulating property of thermoreflection foil insulations. The teoretical part of thesis focuses on the energy demand of buildings, the problems of heat transfer material, terms required for study of thermoreflection thermal insulation and experimental methods for determination of thermal insulating properties of insulators. In the next part the chapter is accompanied by an overview of the most common insulation materials which used in construction. The last part of teoretical part is devoted to the description of thermoreflect formation and analysis of the spread of thermal insulating layers of thermoreflection thermal insulation. The first part of thesis is devoted to the use of thermoreflection therm insulation in buildings. The second part of thesis is devoted to the design, assembly and calibration of the measuring device that uses a method of protected warm chamber. It is declared as a binding method of detection of the heat transfer performance of thermoreflection thermal insulation. The developed measuring device allows detection of endpoints in some direction of propagation of heat. Measurment of heat transfer coefficient devoted the third part of practical part. This part contains a description of the samples used for the measurement of the heat transfer coefficient. In the fourth chapter of the practical part are presented the results of the heat transfer coefficient measurments on selected samples of thermoreflection foil insulation. It is shown the characteristic of heat transfer coefficient of individual samples, the dependence of the heat transfer coefficient on the position of the sample in the measuring device and the recommendation of an appropriate use of sample in the works for the climatic conditions of the Czech republic. The work concludes the chapter of comparing and evaluating of all samples with practical recommendations.
Influence of skin effect, proximity effect and air gap on winding losses of HF inductors and transformers
Pitner, Tomáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with power losses in the windings of high-frequency inductors and transformers. A detailed mathematical and qualitative analysis of the skin effect, proximity effect and leakage flux of air gap is performed, supplemented with the results of computer simulations using the finite element method. The thesis introduces analytical and numerical methods for calculating power losses in the windings of inductors and transformers and describes suitable measurement methods, which are further used in the thesis. For selected geometries of inductors and transformers, AC resistances of their windings are calculated using FEM and the results are compared with measurements on constructed prototypes. The winding geometries are also compared between each other.

Assessment of ventilated floors construction
Jurka, Jiří ; Kmínová,, Hana (referee) ; Šilarová,, Šárka (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (referee) ; Škramlik, Jan (advisor)
Air insulation, especially its efficiency, is often underestimated and most often it is recommended as combination of several methods by our experts. It is known that flowing air used to eliminate excessive humidity in lower construction is insignificantly promoted. Already our ancestors in ancient Rome had experience with implementation of air insulations. However, nowadays such design is connected with many doubts and it forces us to use sense, especially knowledge of construction physics. So it urges higher technical precision when designing functional ventilation system. Each building is actually a unique object, with regard to its position and used properties, that is why certain natural conditions must be accepted when designing. It is more complicated and figuratively speaking it can be written in c. 20 equations of twenty unknowns. Other problems arise in unknown coefficients to individual parameters and their effects. From another point of view it is the issue of changing air during the day, passing fronts, annual cycles and all of these in relation to internal environment of the building, materials used in the construction, land properties of rocks, and last but not least, relation to the terrain around the building. Then there are the effects of the building's altitudes etc. In total they are cycles with sine character of dampening and drying. The thesis discusses how to test the functionality of AIR insulations designed for the floor ventilation in historic buildings and follows on from the previously published articles. A flow analysis is being performed on an object of the city of Žirovnice which has been registered in the list of cultural monuments and was built as a brewery in the years 1589-1592 on the site of an older medieval building. This article brings new air-flow element. The aim of the article is to analyse in detail the air flow in a specific floor void with the aid of modern CFD programs and experimental measurements using the ALMEMO
