TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV

CONCEPTION - Different attitude than expected - Attempt to implement a model of so called city house which is already known for centuries in present Přerov. -Attempt to minimalize need number of parking places and their placement only on the groung. SOLUTION A result of the design is polyfunctional complex of five separate houses with following functions: housing (mayority) services, shopping, offices and religious areas.The goal of the solution is to fill up the corner between Brabansko and Malá Dlážka streets properly and avail excellent light conditions (orientation of main street facades is southeastern). With the rhytm and facade division particular objects try to distort strong horizontality of the street line. The corner is accented and thus represents the opposite of close Sokol building.
Creation in historical environment of the city Kroměříž Adjusting the waterfront in the section between the Main and Bridge Zborovský

An object of leisure-time center and a new bridge were designed according to needs and limits of this location, that they correspond to. This project follows up on the previous analysis and the riverfront design in the section between the main bridge and the Zborovsky bridge in Kroměříž. The general target of this project is an active integrating the river and its closest neighborhood to the city environment. This target is supported by the study in this project. The leisure-time center design creates a social background and a center of this area and it would became an important point in Kroměříž, where people could relocate on the river, by bike or on foot from. The new bridge design examines possible solutions of a new bridge over the river in Kroměříž, that is missing here.
New South District and its Connection to Svratka

The Master‘s thesis deals with the processing of the architectural study of the city block in the planned new South Quarter near the Svratka River. The project builds on a pre-diploma project whose aim was to create a territorial urban study for part of this neighbourhood. It was a section between the New Railway Station, Opuštěná Street and the existing Zvonařka Bus Station following the river embankment. The subject of the master‘s thesis is a block from this newly designed urban structure, situated in very close proximity to the river. he project focuses on the block as a whole. It conceptually solves the links between newly designed buildings, individual operations, and functions. It deals with the relationship between streets, river and buildings. Great attention is paid to the maximum use of greenery in the form of extensive and intensive roofs, internal blocks, private gardens in the inner block, as well as private front gardens. The concept seeks to provide a wide range of options and differences. This creates a closed city block that is open and responding to the river with its shape, that consists of free parts. The first / majority are the street lining. It is mostly 5-storey. Corner buildings are raised by one floor, allowing roof intensive gardens to be created. It includes a diverse range of residential units overlooking the river. Housing prevails here. On the ground floor there are a few commercial units and work-and-live. The work-and-live area also includes a private front yard on the street and private raised gardens in the interior. The second part consists of two objects extended over the pedestrian shopping promenade. One of the objects was subject of my detailed architectural study. There are the most luxurious apartments, ground floor showroom and concept store. Architecture in Landscape – Winery

The solved territory is situated in the picturesque part of the South Moravian Region in the village of Strachotín. The local environment invites you to create a pleasant holiday space. That's why I designed a winery object with a holiday accommodation in the vineyard and a water museum with a spiritual space inside the water reservoir. The built-up area is designed on two axis lines. The first axis is the connecting line of the historic wine village of Pouzdřany, with the highest peak of the Pavlovské vrchy. There is a vineyard object on this axis. The second axis comes from the neighboring wine village of Popice and heads to the Nove Mlýny water reservoir in the center and to the church of St. Linharta, which protrudes from the water as a remnant of the flooded village of Mušov. That is why a water museum and a spiritual place to think are on the axis. At the intersection of these two axes there is a lookout tower and a main parking area for visitors.
Riverside House

The bacelor thesis is focused on the new urban plan of an area in Brno. The area is located on the border between the compact city and the unused areas and brownfiled. The work deals with the solution of the noise barrier, the proposal of a new urban concept and the involvment of the river to the city's organism. The detailed architectural draft is focused on one building from the designed area, concretely the apartment building on the edge of the row buildings by the river Svitava.
Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of rivers and their surrounding areas

The aim of the assignment was to rehabilitate the area of the Brno embankment of the river Svitava and the nearby surroundings of the river. This is the modification of the river's seashore, the modification of public spaces and the completion of individual objects. The solved territory is defined in the east and north of Cejl streets, on the east of the Svitava river and on the south by Tkalcovska street. The principles of the proposal are based on the necessary changes to the territory. The biggest problem of the area is the area backups for the hypermarket parking lot and the urbanistically incoherent structure of the courtyards and the poorly functioning waterfront. The proposal focuses on making the river accessible and bringing water closer to people. On the waterfront the bicycle path is used not only by cyclists. The former hypermarket is converted into a shopping mall and the ground floor of the seafront is made up of shops, services, cafes and restaurants. For humans, a river was available that could touch water. For relaxation and recreation, the terraces are provided. Better permeability also offers the river itself. By modifying the footbridge and delivering a new footbridge in the middle part, pedicists and cyclists can better cross the river. The park and the reclamation of planted trees have been modified. The Svitavy Drive in the section of the park was also accessible by foot. The siding was preserved to a certain extent in order to be able to prepare a wagon with a café or other possibilities of the Svitava festival under the steam. The construction of new houses increases the attractiveness of the area itself and offers both flats overlooking the river with the dominant of the church as well as services in the workshops of the individual houses. TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV

Our development area comprises the corner part of building block delimited by streets Brabansko – Malá Dlážka on parcels No. 4382, 4379, 4378, 4380. The place is divided by the river Bečva and by the waterfront road from the historic town centre. Multifunctional building includes public service and housing. The front entry is from the riverside street Brabansko, parking and supply place on the courtyard open to the street Malá Dlážka. First 3 floors serves as a commercial lease place, which can be free divided due to used space structure. 3th – 5th floor are destined for flats 2+kitchen and 3kitchen, 6th – 9th floor flats 4+kitchen. Urbanistic situation: fractionalism of sporadic building, breach of the street lines, absence of the regulative plan, specificity of waterfront. Space solution: Main feature: calm space with pedestrian, the river – impression – change of mood all day, water reflex, the south sun There are two differential points of view: over the river: sensation context of 2 adjoining building – linearity, pacific mass; close view – expression variety of surrounding allows more creative concept. The mass is connected to adjoining building and grows up. The form is inspired by ship, the corner symbolizes keel. The corner tower was cut in 2 directions, cuts are not so expressive over the river, it is apparent from side and close view. The cut features fallacy - disturbance of the vertical lines turns beholder´s head, it seems to be thinner than the prism. Open corner gives view angle from the rear street and there is a entry place with entry to the grand floor, to stairs to 1st and 2nd floor and through the passage way to car lifts and central stairs leading from basement garage through all the residential tower. There is used attractive views – terrace in 2nd floor for offices and large glass surfaces in flats. The facade raster against river matches scale of adjoining building, raster of cut surfaces is denser. It is the second fallacy – softer scale, so the surface seems to be deeper from the front view. Color solution result from water reflex, there are 3 materials of the diverse reflection intensity: glass, safety enamel dark grey glass and aluminum siding of blue metallic reflex. So there are various surface features all day. There is replaced dark glass surfaces by photovoltaic panels in the various solution. The construction combines concrete frame and wall system, both monolithic steel concrete, the basement is from rigid water-proof concrete construction, which results water and earth pressure. Yard facade is plaster and lightweight facade systems on front face – steel jambs clipped on steel concrete flooring plate. Parking for non-residential spaces is provided by vertical independent car lift for 2 cars and 2 standing for disabled, 36 places in sum. 14 parking standing is in the basement for residential, enterable from yard lift.
Waterfront Danube in Bratislava

The theme of diploma thesis is an urbanistic and architectonic study of selected parts of the waterfront between Starý most and Most SNP. The area is divided into three locations (Námestie Ľ. Štúra, Šafárikovo námestie a Tyršovo nábrežie). These analysis are processed with visions for possible further development. The Creative centre study is dealing to increase attractiveness of Tyršovo nábrežie.
City within the City / "Trnitá City Block"

The assignment of the work was the elaboration of two planned blocks of the new Brno southern center. In cooperation with the Office of the Architect of the City of Brno, we adjusted them to the final form, from which twelve plots were created, for twelve graduates of the Nový-Palasčák studio. The land solved by me is located at the meeting of Opuštěná Street and the Svratka River. It thus forms an important urban corner, marking the newly emerging district. Due to its character, significance, size and multifunctional arrangement, I called this corner building „Opuštěná Palace“.

This project is based on semestral project strategy for library, which was searching for the best place for the building. Master's thesis is situating the new city library in waterfront area Na Marku, near the new Tyršův most.
