The aim of this work is to provide information that should help especially potential investors considering market penetration in the United Arab Emirates. The first part is devoted to general information about the country that will help to understand the position in the world of this relatively small country situated in the East. The second part focuses on local culture, religion and way of business negotiation. Knowledge of this field is essential for contact with business partners and the successful execution of the business objectives of the company. The third part deals with the specifics of the market and business environment which surrounds each company during its functioning. The last part presents results of a survey that brings different views and experience of people working for a long time in the United Arab Emirates.
Export strategy of the chosen company entering foreign markets

With the example of the United Arab Emirates and India it shows the diversity of business and export strategies. It tries to answer the question of whether to use distributors in foreign markets, or whether a more appropriate way is to set up its own branches.

Bachelor thesis approaches the specific market of the United Arab Emirates and trade relations with Czech republic. The idea is not only focus on the economic development of the country but also highlight the specificities of the individual Emirates and the interesting projects they implemented. The thesis also examines the cultural specificities and speciality of business in the country. It seeks to define a solution that would lead to a deeper understanding of culture and also provides specific advice on successful marketing. Last chapter is more focused on relations between the UAE and Czech republic, their background, current trade relations and define the opportunities and future prospects for Czech exporters.

This thesis provides basic information about the United Arab Emirates and introduces local cultural and business practices and differences, which play an important role in the expansion to the market of the Emirates. The scope of this thesis is to analyze these habits and characteristics. Particularly, the task is to answer the question whether these differences are barriers for Czech companies to enter the local market successfully. It also deals with experience of Czech companies representatives in business negotiations with local Arabian partners.
