Study of the southeast bypass of Uherský Brod

Subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a study of southeast motorway bypass of the city Uherský Brod, a connection of roads II/490 and II/495. The study also deals with the possible relocation of road I/50 within the same area. Both existing roads are located in urban area. The reason for this study is an effort to reduce traffic intensity in the city and to complete the eastern motorway by-pass of the city. Three possible variants were described; one of them was chosen and described in more detail.

Guilds in Uherský Brod

The Abstract The present work deals with the guilds, which operate on the territory of Uherský Brod from its inception to the year 1859, when the guilds were replaced by trade licensing crafts. The introductory part brings the history of the city itself and guild system. An important milestone in the life of the guilds became the release of the general guild patent and articles. Said instruments are described in separate chapters. The main part is divided into five groups according to the orientation of individual trades, which is an attempt to answer questions about the formation of the guild and its development from archival sources. Uherskobrod Judes and their Culutre at the End of an Era

Bachelor's thesis is devided to two parts when first part is theoretical and its dedicated to history of Uherskobrodských judes and their lives in Uherský Brod during The First republic. In this part I prefer focus on their lives during 30. of 20. century and changes, which year 1939 brought apon them thanks to regime. Second part is practical and is focused at live story of jude Willy Block, who survived nightmares of Second World War in concentration camps and he is one of witness of holocaust.

Shootings in Uherský Brod and its news coverage in the broadcast of CT24

The thesis deals with the phenomenon called breaking news in a continuous broadcast of news stations. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The main aim of the theoretical part is to describe the specifics of television news and their transformation caused by the introduction of continuous broadcast. In this context, the technical means used in Czech TV that allow the audience to watch the news live will be described in detail. The main aim of the practical part is to describe the mentioned phenomenon in connection with a specific event - the shootings in Uhersky Brod in February 2015. The main attention of the quantitative research will be focused on the continuous broadcast of CT24 on 24th February 2015 in order to obtain relevant results, which will illustrate the proportion of the information related to the shooting in the CT24 broadcast.
