Design of the robotic work cell
Gálová, Eva ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to study the issue of creating a production cell and its subsequent simulation. The simulation operates with a workpiece in a robotic deburring process using a stationary robot. The theoretical part outlines the benefits of virtual commissioning, explains the concept of a digital factory and its examples, and describes robotic programming possibilities. To decide a component selection, robotic deburring and end effectors are explained. Selected components are then used in the practical part. Furthermore, for simulation purposes, one of three designed workplace layouts is selected. The software Process Simulate is used to depict the process of establishing a robotic workplace, which includes robotic operations, sensors, a material flow, and output signals. As a result, a robotic study in Process Simulate, a robotic program, and output signals are developed.
Virtual commissioning of production system
Bražina, Jakub ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with virtual commissioning of production system which is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the BUT. The issue of virtual commissioning is described in the theoretical part of the thesis, followed by a description of each device located in this production system. The design of the 3D model, the design of the PLC control program and also the virtual commissioning itself are described in the practical part of the thesis. There is the creation of the robot‘s program described at the end of the thesis. Several Siemens software tools were used for virtual commissioning realization (TECNOMATIX Process Simulate, TIA Portal and PLCSIM Advanced 2.0).
Design, simulation and control of robotic cell for spot and continual welding
Holíček, Jozef ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling and simulation of production process, which consists of a few stationary robots. This model of production process is made in program Tecnomatix Process Simulate. Principle of digital manufacturing and virtual production is described in the first chapter. The second chapter describes how to work with program Tecnomatix Process Simulate and how to make a design of production process of continuous and spot welding. The controlling program of PLC SIMATIC 300 and the program for process visualization are described in the last chapter.
Continuous/Batch production in Industry 4.0 environment
Ručka, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis named Continuous/batch production in environment Industry 4.0 deals with software and principles that are designed for discrete manufacturing and their application to the continuous and batch production. First, the functions and properties of individual programs for discrete manufacturing were descripted, then this acquired knowledge was related to continuous and batch production. On the basis of the gained knowledge, a program for the processing of liquid materials with using two tanks was created. This program is aimed at customizing of the final product.
Virtual manufacturing
Benešl, Tomáš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the Industry 4.0 focusing on virtual manufacturing and its inte- gration into education. The aim of the thesis is to summarize and describe the Industry 4.0, and create necessary materials designed for teaching the virtual manufacturing. There is also a discussion on the real use of the virtual manufacturing and possible economic return for firms. Moreover, software programs for the virtual manufacturing available on the market, their options and their real use are also involved in the thesis. It also includes an application design for virtual manufacturing including laboratory tu- torials and the use of this application in education. There are also suggestions for other exercises that could move the teaching of the virtual manufacturing in the Czech Republic further.
Possibilities of CAM software NX in programming CNC machine tools
Forbelský, Jiří ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis details the NX CAM application and its capabilities in the production of specific shapes on selected components. It includes a selection of machinery, respective tools, together with shanks and clamping cones, as well as selection and verification of the cutting conditions. The process is accompanied by a graphic simulation and complemented by an economic evaluation.
