Indoor swimming pool - concrete tank construction
Pőthe, Péter ; Pulec, Vladimír (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design reinforced concrete construction of the indoor swimming pool and ensure impermeability of the construction, to ensure behavior as concrete tank construction. Static analysis was done by using program Dlubal RFEM 5.12, where interaction of subsoil with construction was taken into account. Slabs around the swimming pool area were divided into expansion section because of temperature changes from glass façade an after that the sealing of expansion gap was solved. Construction system under the swimming was designed and was tested the behavior of walls and slabs. Analysis was done also to considerate of hydration heat. The drawing was done by software CADKON RCD.
Design and construction of a linear hydraulic motor
Melichar, Martin ; Budík, Tomáš (referee) ; Merenus, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is interested in linear hydraulic motors. The first part consist of technical research in the field of linear hydraulic motors. The second part focuses on the construction of linear hydraulic motors including all necessary calculations. The thesis also includes technical drawings containing the total linear hydraulic motor assembly with the drawings of the top and bottom cover.
Nozzle separation valve design for rasterization electron microscope
Hoffman, Petr ; Navrátil, Václav (referee) ; Foltýnová, Dana (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is a design and subsequent construction of a vacuum separation valve for a scanning electron microscope. The introduction describes the functions of an isolating valve. The function of the scanning electron microscope is described in the overview of the current state of knowledge. The following chapters focus on conceptual designs of the valve, their descriptions, advantages and disadvantages. Based on the comparison, the most suitable solution was selected. A force analysis of the selected variant is also performed and described. The end of the thesis contains the whole structure design and processed drawing documentation.
Comparison of flange connections design
Hrbáček, Jan ; Dohnal, Miloslav (referee) ; Buzík, Jiří (advisor)
Flange connections are type of connections frequently used in industry. There are hight claims for their dimensioning, strength and tightness. The proper and exact design can be made by calculation or by choice of standardized components (flanges, bolts, nuts etc.) accordig to requirements established by standart. This Bachelor´s thesis occupies itself with qualitative comparison of proposals for the strength design of flanged conections according to ČSN EN 13445, AD 2000 Merkblatt and ASME Code standarts. The programming language called Python is used in this Bachelor´s thesis.
Universal Inspection and Measuring Station
Brýdl, Adam ; Bradáč, František (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The task of this thesis is the design and construction of semi-automatic control and measuring station. The station is designed for testing the presence and measurement of the correct position of light guides and seals in the connector. Station contains a tool for testing the blinding of connectors. The design and construction of a semi-automatic control and measuring station is necessary using several types of sensors and sliding linear axes controlled by servo drives. The assignment of the thesis is solved in cooperation with the company Mechatronic Design & Solutions s.r.o. in Brno.
Intake Ports for the Wankel Engine
Smělý, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design of intake port for turbocharged Mazda 13B-T engine with Wankel-type rotating piston motion aiming for possible modifications leading to increase of performance parameters. The main objective of this thesis is to propose appropriate modifications in order to achieve increased torque in widest possible engine speed range.
Construction of foundry core boxes and their use for the production of silicone parts
Skalický, Jan ; Kaněra, Miloš (referee) ; Jelínek, Radim (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a mold for use in casting of plastics and rubbers. The product is two different gaskets used in the testing of tubes for automotive industry. The part has a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 19 mm and a length of 25 mm, where two holes with a diameter of 4 mm are additionally drilled in one of them. Depending on the service life, the batch size is approximately 200 pieces per year. The material was not specified, so after research two options were chosen. The first was RTV-2 condensation silicone rubber LUKOPREN N 1522 from Lučební závody a.s. Kolín and the second one was RTV-2 additive silicone rubber ELASTOSIL M 4642 A/B from Wacker-Chemie, s.r.o. The second material came out better from preliminary testing. By gradually improving the design of a simple single-piece steel mold, a final version was created which is double in size and consists of three parts. It is made by 3D printing using FDM method from PLA material. It was found that in order to achieve a defect-free casting, the mix must be vacuumed before casting.
Numerical modelling of resealing effects in earthen dams
Bredy, Somia ; Hodák,, Jiří (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Jandora, Jan (advisor)
This study focuses on the most important sealing technologies; Diaphragm walls and Jet grouting as a major most popular reliable option when it comes to engineering constructions rehabilitation. Those two methods have been used in Karolinka dam for reducing seepage through its body. Diaphragm walls were used along the dam, and jet grouting was used at both ends of the dam. The study deals with the possibility of numerical modelling of these two technologies. It is included how to carry out, interaction with adjacent soil, cement shrinkage, slope stability, changing of pore water pressure with the time, dynamic analysis of drilling rod and the effects of both technologies on slope stability, seepage and settlement of dam. This modelling was conducted with the finite element method based on software Plaxis 3D.
