Reinforced concrete load-bearing construction
Tmej, Patrik ; Buřič, Pavel (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the strengthening and resistance of concrete construction. At the beginning is described composite reinforcement and their specific properties. The thesis specifically follows behavior concrete vault and the effects of load. Resistance vault is calculated by S&T model – strut and tie. Finally, the thesis contain strengthening construction by composite reinforcement. Strengthening is considered by two ways - strengthening by cohesive reinforcement and strengthening by incoherent reinforcement (wrapping).
Strain, stress and strength analysis of the truss construction.
Hladký, Maroš ; Horníková, Jana (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on strain, strength, and strain analysis of planar truss construction. The purpose of this work is to determine the load on each rod, and to assess the safety against limit states. After determining the primary characteristics, the structure will be modified and load and safety re-calculated. Depending on the outcome, the design will be changed again. Next, will be destined gravity affect on the design and impact of production inaccuracy. Deformation of structure will be calculated.
Pulse flow of liquid in flexible tube
Komoráš, Miroslav ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with analysis of fluid flow pulse in a flexible tube representing e.g. an artery in a human body. In ANSYS program, 3D simulations were performed, and these are so-called interrelated FSI analysis. In Maple software, 1D simulations of fluid flow in the tube were performed for various thin-walled and thick-walled variants. The aim is using these programs to determine the flow rates and pressures in the tube, its wall deformation and stress. Therefore, the theoretical part deals mainly with basic equations of flow dynamics, linear and nonlinear models and rotationally symmetric vessels. In the computational part are described individual procedures in the mentioned programs.
A study of the stress distribution near the sharp notch tip
Beňo, Tomáš ; Žák, Stanislav (referee) ; Profant, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is studying problems of stress distribution near the sharp notch tip. The theoretical part discloses the history of fracture mechanics and it’s basic principles. The practical part solves stress singularity exponents for geometry of particular notch.
Dynamic analysis of structure loaded seismic loads
Šulerová, Zdeňka ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the calculation of response of reinforced concrete construction on the effect of seismic tension. Time and spectral analysis were made. They are mentioned as possible ways of calculation in EN 1998 - 1:2004 norm. Final figures of global deformations and stress on selected beam from the time and spectral analysis were firstly compared for the horizontal components of seismic stress affecting only in one direction. Subsequently comparison of time progress to combination of these effects mentioned in relevant norm was made. In the conclusion the results of used analysis are appraised.
Stress-strain analysis of artery with atheroma
Janík, Rostislav ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis analyses stress and strain of iliac artery with atheroma. Model of artery is created as 3D and symmetric in the longitudinal cut. The first part of the thesis deals with a research, which includes obtaining information from medicine, which is necessary fort the right solution of the task. Next part dedicates to nonlinear mechanics, constitutive modeling from the view of biomechanice and computational modeling of arteries. In the next part is made analysis for load on artery by increased blood pressure. In the end were specified uncertainties of the used model and evaluated chance of atherosclerotic plaque rupture.
Monolithic reinforced concrete tank
Kollárik, Adrián ; Šiška, Radek (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and assessment of all supporting parts of cast-in-place reinforced concrete tank. The thesis includes a technical report, static analysis, drawing documentations, construction proces and visualization. The drawing documentation consists of shape and reinforcement drawings of supporting parts.
Two-speed gearbox
Kratěna, Jan ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Ždímal, Pavel (advisor)
The objective of this work was to create the „Technical Documentation of Two-Speed Transmission“. The submission included a brief content of the demanded work. At first, calculations of gear ratio, tooth system dimensions and module were performed. Subsequently calculations of single tooth wheel loads and their safety were performed. After the tooth system calculation the shaft, bearings and key calculations followed. The Technical Documentation was completed with pictures and charts that illustrate the individual load points. A 3D model of the two-speed transmission inclusive detailed drawings of the individual shafts and tooth wheels were created as a part of the documentation as well.
Strip rolling
Kornherr, Milan ; Suchánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petruška, Jindřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on theoretical analysis of the role of plastic deformation in the process of rolling strips. The work explains progress of stress waveform during straining and lightening. This work also focuses on computing of spring loading and bending moment due to specific curvature of strips. Report at the end of this work includes an illustrative example with executional program.
Frame bridge
Kapsa, Štěpán ; Velešík, Marek (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with the design of a single-pole frame structure of a road bridge, which is based deeply on piles. Due to the size of the span of 26 m, additionally prestressed cables are designed in the supporting structure. The structure is analyzed by a three-dimensional bar model and assessed for serviceability and load-bearing limit states in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Part of the design is a study of the influence of supporting the computational model and a comparison of the effect of active and resting earth pressure on the structure.
