Evaluation of Performance in the Company by Using Balanced Scorecard

The Master´s thesis is focused on evaluation of performance in the company by using Balanced Scorecard. Theoretical part describes the method of Balanced Scorecard and other analyses needed to measure performance. The next part evaluates current situation of Matezex spol. s r.o. by using selected analytical methods and in conclusion is a proposal for implementing the Balanced Scorecard in the company. Within this part there are strategic goals of individual perspectives, strategic map, schedule of implementation and there are assessed risks that could accompany implementation of this concept.

The diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of a business company using Balanced Scorecard. The theoretical part of the thesis defines important theoretical knowledge taken from scholarly literature, which forms the necessary basis for the following parts. The analytical part is used to introduce the business company and perform strategic analysis. The obtained values and knowledge are then applied in the design part of the work. The design part focuses on the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard model in a business company and the design of other recommendations that enable performance increase and competitive market position improvement.

The aim of the diploma thesis Company performance measurement is to propose a particular approach of the Balanced Scorecard method implementation for the company IZOL94, s.r.o. that can lead to the increase in the competitiveness and efficiency of the company. Strategic objectives of the perspectives are deduced on the basis of strategic and financial outcomes and also measures as well as target values are assigned to the strategic objectives. The strategic initiatives that lead to fulfill proposed strategic objectives are determined afterwards. The final part of this thesis deals with risks and benefits related to the Balanced Scorecard concept implementation.

This thesis deals with economic and financial evaluation of the selected company Frujo, a.s. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The thesis is divided into three parts, which are content related. The first theoretical part of the thesis defines theoretical background from specialised literature, which is necessary for the next part of the thesis. The analytical part of the thesis contains the introduction of the company, strategic analysis and financial analysis of the company. On the basis of results obtained from the analyzes in the second part, a proposal of the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard model is developed to improve the company's performance.

The presented thesis is focused on the evaluation of the company’s performance using Balanced Scorecard method. The analytical part is addressed to the introduction of the chosen company, its activities, situation and financial analysis. The outputs of these analyses are becoming the background material for the proposal section which deals with the implementation of Balanced Scorecard to the analysed company for the purpose of increasing its performance and ensuring the subsequent development.

This master´s thesis deals with the performance evaluation of the company Slovácké strojírny, a. s. using Balanced Scorecard approach and proposes the implementation of this method in the company. A proposed concept of the Balanced Scorecard is based on the strategic and financial analysis, through which the future performance of the company will be evaluated. The thesis specifies the strategic targets for each perspective of the concept, assigns financial and non-financial measures for individual targets, determines target value, intends strategic actions, identifies risks and evaluates the benefits of the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard concept into the company.

The theoretical part defines the concept of business performance and methodology of the Balanced Scorecard. The analytical part describes the current situation of the company and based on acquired theoretical knowledge analyze the financial, customer, internal proceses and perspektive of learning and growth. At the conclusion of the thesis, is a proposal for the implementation of the BSC concept to company. The strategic goals and scales with target values are proposed to help Remarkplast Group a.s. to improve its overal performance in the coming years.

The thesis focuses on the problems of company performance, its assessment and the following implementation of the Balanced Scorecard model. The theoretical part of the work introduces theoretical knowledge acquired in professional literature followed by other parts of the thesis. The analytical part aims at introducing a chosen company including situational and financial analysis. The final values are used as a basis for the proposal part of the work that focuses on the creation and implementation of the aforementioned BSC model in the analysed company directed at reaching not only a higher performance but also the required strategic objectives.

The master´s thesis is focused on the evaluation of the current state and business performance of the selected company NC Line, a.s. using the Balanced Scorecard concept. The theoretical part of the thesis will define the concept of company business performance and its measurement using various methodologies and then discuss the concept of the Balanced Scorecard method in more detail. In the analytical part, the selected enterprise will be introduced, its current situation will be described by performing some analyses and then the thesis will continue with the findings in relation to the application and implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method. In the last part of the thesis, recommendations resulting from the overall work and suggestions for improving the performance of the company in the following period will be given.
