Solving of Automotive Industry Financial Crisis in Company

Elaborate master’s thesis investigates at first the general knowledge of the theoretical background related with the global financial crisis and its subsequent transfer to the automotive industry. After the theoretical examination is master’s thesis analyzing company MS technik in the period before the financial crisis and especially during the drop in production caused by the effects of financial crisis in the automotive industry. The main part of master’s thesis is solving the impacts of the crises and their consequences in MS technik and in particular the proposals and their subsequent application in the enterprise to cope with the effects of financial crisis which in 2008 affected the market of the automotive industry.

Analysis of VoIP implementation in the WAN network of Třinecké železárny a.s.

This diploma thesis is focused on the implementation of the technology VoIP in the remote branch offices of a big company. There are used the current WAN lines, which have been so far used only for transfer of data. Implementation of IP telephony is extending the utilization of those lines and at the same time the costs for running of the telephone services are reduced. There are described the models for proposal and also the proposal for solution of IP telephony for a specific company.

Bachelor´s thesis „The Capital Cost Repayment Period of the Reconstruction of Multiple-function building“ deals with the reality of investing financial resources into improvement of conditions for use of multifunctional buliding. In the theoretical part it deals with specification of basic terms from the domain of building lifespan, calculation of financial costs and investment decision-making. In the practical part it judges contract cost of reconstruction, lowering the costs of heating by technical changes of construction and also return of investment in different forms.

Analysis of Optimalization´s Posibilities of Executive and Managing Processes within the Company of ThyssenKrupp Výtahy, s.r.o.

Main target of this Master's Thesis is preparation and evaluation of proposal of selected intercompany processes' improvements within the company of ThysenKrupp Výtahy, s.r.o.. First, theoretical, part is focused on basic terms definition, e.g. what is procces, what is process management, what are the particular elements and definition of main groups of processes. Practical part of the thesis concerns of introduction of chosen company, basic processes and procedures definition; and of description and analysis of their origin and structure. Then, the weak parts of the chain are identified, and the proposal and plan of optimalization measures is presented. Final part evaluates possible impacts of proposed measures in the relation to financial impact of selected project.

Analysis of the selected parts of the logistic supply chain in company Východočeská tiskárna, spol. s r.o.

This thesis is focused on analysis of the selected parts of the logistic supply chain in company Východočeská tiskárna, spol. s r.o.. The first part explains the theoretical fundaments that are needed to understand following analysis and rating based on logistics principles. Analysis of parts of the logistic supply chain is the main part of the second chapter. More detailed study is made on topics such as choosing the right way of transport for the way (in /out) (to/from) the company, it is confirmed that company's own transportation service is profitable considering its cost and at the end of this thesis is evaluated company's information system and the cycle of customer's order. At last are given the reasons why the company won't introduce the usage of system of bar codes at the time.

Logistics in a chosen manufacturing concern

Bachelor work deals with an analysis of logistical activities in a company called Kartáčovny, Inc based in Pelhřimov. The company with a long tradition in the branch deals with production and sale of brush goods. After the introduction of the company including an analysis of competition I came to an identification of a present marketing strategy which tries to keep the current market positions. I suggest extending the webside by adding an e-shop which would suitably complete it. Then I dealt with an analysis of a logistical chain. It is a traditional logistical chain with discontinuous flow where material flow works on push principle. The disadvantage of this logistical chain is the necessity of keeping big reserves of material,semi-finished goods and products. In consideration of this amount of reserves and changing of variable and fixed expenses, there should be carried out more frequent count of an optimal production rate of a single product. I also focused on a suitable lay-out of buildings, work places equipment and transport expenses to reduce the necessity of a frequent transport in a company area. I did not find any serious faults in work places during my visit. I also praise the general lighting of work rooms by daylight, which makes a pleasant atmosphere and does not become a stressful factor as in case of artificial lighting . After a detailed research of routes, number of contacts, distances and transport expenses among buildings (work rooms) in the company area, I found out the possibility to save as much as 162 216,80 CZK per year on transport expenses. This fact was demonstrated by CRAF method. I suggest building a new store instead of a present store of granulate II. Existing old store would be pulled down and replaced by this new store with a bigger capacity. I am sure that building a new store would bring many positives which are worth considering.

Nákladová analýza mezinárodního projektu - případová studie

Práce se zabývá teoretickými přístupy ke strukturaci nákladů. Dále práce uvádí konkrétní praktiky oceňování nákladů v jejich reálné aktuální struktuře, pomocí tří metodik a popisuje hlavní náležitosti strukturace. Ve druhé části se práce věnuje oceňování nákladů v projektu. Třetí část se věnuje korporátní sociální zodpovědnosti. Závěrem je kapitola o řízení a snižování nákladů. Práce si kladla za úkol popsat metodiky řízení nákladů a aspektů, které náklady ovlivňují. Základem k tomu byl konrétní projekt.
