Small and medium enterprises´ philanthropic activities in the Czech Republic in 2015 and 2016

Philanthropy - as a humanist-motivated charitable activity that is designed to promote generally beneficial purpose - is one of the main sources of income for both non-profit organizations and individual social assistance recipients. Philanthropy in both its individual and collective form is on the rise in the Czech Republic lately. Theoretical section of this thesis is focused on dynamic development of entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, which influenced willingness to be charitable in general, on defining the concept of small and medium enterprises and on philanthropy as a part of wider corporate social responsibility framework. Survey analysis in conducted in practical application part of the thesis. Main results are that small and medium enterprises take philanthropy seriously. Their contributions are usually regular and not at all symbolic. Most of the surveyed firms contribute to charity because they intend to help others and do not perceive charity as a marketing tool only.
Impact of economic crisis on small and medium-sized business dependent on civil engineering in Czech republic after 2007

Bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of impact caused by economic crisis on small and medium-sized businesses which are partly or completely dependent on civil engineering in Czech republic. Theoretical part focuses on basic theory of business cycles and causes of economic crisis, with emphasize on detailed description of development of Czech civil engineering in the period of crisis after 2007. This development is observed through main indicators of civil engineering, which provide information of condition of Czech civil engineering. Analytical part focuses on basic financial analysis of particular company Brunax spol. s r. o., which represents small and medium-sized businesses dependent on Czech civil engineering. Analysis was carried out of the period of crisis after 2007. Analysis of impact of the crisis was done through the analysis of company's balance sheet and income statement. These impacts correspond with negative development of whole engineering sector. Most of small and medium-sized businesses were forced to look for a way out of these problems involving serious existencial troubles and will take them a long time to recover from crisis.

The subject of my master thesis is creating a business plan. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of business plan in its individual chapters. In each of these chapters I summarize and evaluate the theoretical methods that can be applied on the given area. The practical part deals with preparation of a business plan focused on cloud computing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Next aim was rated potential of human resources for development a smalll biz and its activities in tourism and suggest suitably solutions in this situation. Analysis of Green ICT concept for small and medium business

This thesis deals with the issue of sustainable development and its relation to information and communicaton technologies in the business background. The whole concept is called Green ICT. The main aim of the thesis is to provide an insight into the legislative and contentual aspects of Green ICT and its relation to business informatics, suggesting several practices for use in small business. The first part defines all important legislative aspects and summarizes the view of Green ICT according to several authors and describes and compares the certificates of physical ICT. Next part is aimed to business environment and deals with the most frequently occuring barriers and motivation factors. The small and medium business is specified and the requirements of managing and monitoring the impact on the envirnoment is analyzed. Next part of the thesis analyzes defined areas of potential implementation of Green ICT and creates relevant practices to improve the power consumption and the impact on the environment, on the basis of available case studies and research findings For every practice, its potential technical solution, effects and risks are considered. These practices are then analyzed and appraised in terms of MMDIS methodics. The added value of the thesis is comprehensive description and analysis of individual practices of Green ICT from different points of view and analysis and comparison of available certifications of ICT devices.
Implementation of ITIL into Small and Medium Business

This work is initially focused on the general description of ITIL V3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and its five elementary books to enable the reader to become familiar with the essential terms and to get at least an overall view of this approach to the administration of IT services. The section Service Strategy is deeply analyzed on a theoretical level as well as in the practical part of the work. For the needs of this work, the term SMB -- Small and Medium Business is defined, in accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission. For these businesses, the work describes the advantages and disadvantages related not only to their operation, but also to the implementation of ITIL. In the practical part of the work, an analysis of a current state of a sample small business is carried out in the field of service strategy, the result of which is the assessment of its state according to the ITIL principles, pointing out faulty processes or incorrectly defined services, and the decision whether the company would benefit from changing its service strategy.
Cluster development perspektives in Czech republic

The main object of this thesis is analyse conditions for formation clusters in the Czech republic and possibility their other development. The thesis contains characteristics of the last and present operational programme, which support clusters. The other part of the thesis is analyse of the present situacion of development clusters in particular regions of the Czech republic and their comparison with clusters of Austria. In the ending part of the thesis are summarized all information get from questionnaire and interwiev with manager of the cluster EKOGEN.

The main aim was to carry out marketing research of people and businesses of the city, leading the interviews with the mayor and city project manager. The last part was a SWOT analysis and then selected the circumstances and opportunities in selected areas of development.

The bachelor work the use and benefit the regional brands by chosen producent in the region of Šumava, then more specifically in the region of Domažlice. Principal aim of the work was to determine the impact of certification and the potential for further improvements in the functioning of the program. The data were used to obtain interviews, the results have subsequently created a case study of manufacturers. Conclusion was proposed recommendations for improving services.
Audit in small and medium business

The subject of this thesis is a theoretical introduction to audit of the financial statements. The main part is the audit process, particularly the implementation of procedures to assess the adoption of a new contract, the design's overall performance audit, risk assessment, conducting a further audit procedures, analyzing the information obtained, and finally preparing the auditor's report. The last chapter is devoted to the audit program for fixed assets.
