Modular Architecture of Distributed Applications
Musil, Jiří ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
Traditional architectures of software systems are in heterogenous environment of today's computer networks too heavy-footed. One of principles, which tries to solve this problem is service-oriented architecture (SOA). Practical way of its implementation is represented by web services (WS) built upon protocols like SOAP or XML-RPC. This diploma thesis focuses problem of providing contextual information to mobile devices and its solution based on SOA principles. The thesis introduces design and implementation of web service providing contextual information to mobile devices and prototype of modular inverse SOAP proxy server allowing its effective monitoring and management.
Realisation of Service-Oriented Architecture: Web Services
Jiráček, Pavel ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Weiss, Petr (advisor)
The main subject of this master thesis is the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). It shows a complete overview of Web Services in terms of realisation of a SOA. The thesis mentions what is already done and what else remains to ful ll the basic SOA principles. Then, it reviews Java EE platform tools used to deal with the Web Services. Next, it introduces the Java Management Extensions (JMX) technology as a solution of the web service's area - SOA governance. Moreover, it examinates the possible usage of JMX for the web service's management and monitoring issues. Finally, it implements an exemplary web services management and monitoring application on GlassFish server for testing purposes.
Fault Injection for Web-Services
Žouželka, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This document is especially aimed at web services technologies and testing them using fault injection methods. The work deals with Service-Oriented Architecture, used as a standard for web service implementation, and with software testing in general. Practical part of the project includes the design and realization of a tool, which is able to test the most common types of web services according to setup criteria. To demonstrate its functionality, some of the sample and public web services were tested.
SOA Adoption Using Framework NGOSS in Telecommunication Industry
Jezl, Tomáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor)
This diploma thesis concerns Service-Oriented Architecture and possibilities of using framework NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software) by its adoption to organization. Diploma thesis is divided into four main parts. The first three parts are theoretical and are the foundation for the last practical part of diploma thesis. The first part is devoted to enterprise architecture and to their importance for a big company. The second part of the diploma thesis is devoted to framework, to their principles and importance in connection with enterprise architecture. In first chapters of this part is devoted to description of framework generally, while the last parts contain the description of particular framework for telecommunication industry named NGOSS. I describe its main characteristics and its main parts with emphasis on its part concerning architecture of information system named TNA (Technology Neutral Architecture). This TNA description also contains description of NGOSS contract, which is very important for practical part of diploma thesis. The third and the last theoretical part is concerned with service oriented architecture and its main architectural elements -- services. In the last and practical part of diploma thesis, I am trying to design NGOSS contract for the chosen SOA service and demonstrate its importance for SOA adoption. The end of the practical part contains conclusion on possibilities and benefits of NGOSS framework by SOA adoption.
Utilization opportunities of Business Process Management within SOA
Lukášová, Pavlína ; Hauptvogl, Roman (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
Práce postihuje základní možnosti využití Business Process Management (BPM) v Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Spojení přístupů BPM a SOA umožňuje přistupovat k podnikové integraci z několika pohledů. Tato práce jednotlivé přístupy představuje a identifikuje jejich hlavní přínosy a nedostatky. Práce se dále zaměřuje na charakteristické rysy implementace BPM v SOA, a to včetně technologických rysů. Rovněž práce poskytuje výčet benefitů, překážek a hrozeb plynoucích z implementace BPM v SOA prostředí. Závěrem uvádí současné trendy těchto přístupů.
