The Changes of agricultural Landscape of Microregion Sedlčany in the years 1850-1943

The thesis is focused on the economic situation development in the Sedlčany region from the first half of the 19th century till second half of the 20th century. The period observes changes from the agrarian landscape. At the end of period of the Second Czechoslovak Republic the landscape could be described as agrarian-industrial landscape. Traditionally, the Sedlčany region is considered industrially influenced. The presented thesis deals with confirmation or disproof of this idea. The research tries to find the potential focuses of dynamic economic development. If the focuses existed in the past, the research deals with comparison economic development of the Sedlčany region with other parts of Bohemia and finds the circumstances of the development. The economic situation of this area is located into wider context of the industrialization in the Czech countries during given period. Of course, the phenomenon of industrialization process relates to many factors, such as demographic development, transportation, trade, banking, agriculture and administrative activities. The federation actions are followed up in the region. The main aim of the associations is economic development of this region. They emphasize mainly upward movement of the peasant status. Evaluation of a state of rural business and motivational factors for its formation in the microregion Sedlčansko

This Master thesis is based on empirical research of entrepreneurial subjects located in microregion Sedlčany which searches and evaluates the impacts of rural entrepreneurship in this region. Rural entrepreneurship has gone through changes. In comparison to its past, these changes have reflected the growing importance of non-agricultural subjects in countryside. Theoretical part presents a view into general way-outs to define a countryside and rural business. In addition, practical part pays attention to analysis of specific impacts of companies in this limited region. For instance, it brings us critical knowledge about cooperative networking, targeted markets, positive and negative factors which may influence local businesses. A component of this analysis is also an attempt to find and define motivating factors for migration in this monitored area.

Concept atlas development of microregion Sedlčansko

The Bachelor work deals with the concept atlas development of mikroregion Sedlčany and was cooperating with the Association of Municipalities Sedlčany, so as to suit the character of the area, its strengths and weaknesses and vice versa. The very concept preceded by an evaluation of regional atlases, published in the Czech Republic. The main section of the work is a propsal each chapter and map sheets, supplemented by information on data sources necessary for their creation. The work also contains a number of drawn map sheets in the form in which it would look in the atlas itself.

Sedlčany celebrities and their influence on tourism

Based on field research was designed innovation of product, which should deepen their understanding of tourists and local residents about these personalities.

The thesis focuses on problems of peripheral areas in the Czech Republic, especially the inner peripherals. Monitored are the possibilities of their development, through the use of the cultural heritage and their cultural and historical potential. In the practical part the thesis is focused on a specific inner peripheral territory -- Sedlčany microregion. Its cultural and historical potential is monitored more specifically. Outlined are the practical possibilities of development of Sedlčany region, especially with complex use of the potential of this peripheral region. Particularly in the field of culture and tourism.

Multimedia Educational Program for Teaching on 1 st grade of the Primary School (Sedlčansko)

The thesis Multimedia educational program for teaching about local region on 1st grade of the primary school (Sedlčany area) is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is complete home study characteristics of the researched area. It contains definition and location of the researched place, its physical {--} geographic and social {--} geographic characteristics, historical developement and home study curiosities. The practical part concurs on the acquired information and findings. It is composed by multimedia projects, aimed for 4th grade of the primary schools, applied on interactive boards. A part of the thesis is the methodical guide, containing themes and ideas suggesting how to work with the projects. Everything is in accordance with the General educational program for basic education, in particular with the thematic cirque {\clq}qThe place where we live``, {\clq}qThe people and the time`` and {\clq}qDiversity of the nature`` from the educational section {\clq}qThe man and his world``. The relation of tourism to environment and sustainable development possibilities in the selected region

Problems of sustainable tourism, which is solved in this diploma work, was applied to Sedlčany district. The Sedlčany region is situated in the Central Bohemia region. Region abounds in attractive scenic views and offers ample possibilities for recreation and relaxation. The work realized goals and hipothesis, which were set at the beginning. There were performed research, the analysis of district Sedlčansko and suggested proposals of posibilities for the next destinations development and problems solving. It´s successfully determined the present condition of tourism in this destination and made relevant conclusions of it. Thanks to nature and position this area has high potential for tourism development. There are ideal preconditions for sustainable forms of tourism in destination as biking, hiking and rural tourism. The important aims of Sedlčany district are to support development of tourism activities, construction and improve tourism infrastructure, the effective cooperation of all subjects operating in tourism, building ecological information system, the creation of products of tourism, co-operation with nearby tourism regions, making standarts of accommodation and catering, established through certificates.

Socioeconomic analysis of the district Sedlčansko

The main aim of this bachelor work is a processing of the socioeconomic analysis of the area Sedlčansko which deals with general characteristic, structure of population, economic basis, transport, technical and social infrastructure, turist trade and environment. On ground of finding facts is elaborated the SWOT analysis which summaries strenght and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the district. Next part of my work is focus on the strategy of development. First are descibed the strategic aims of two important organisations of this region -- Local action group and Association of municipality and after is made my suggestion of possible strategy. This strategy is concentrate on social area and education, transport infrastructure, turist trade and business atmosphere.
