Electrical installation in apartment buildings
Pírek, Ondřej ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Doležalová, Jana (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes wiring system in apartment buildings. Theoretical part deals with legislation, main house conduit, wiring materials, heavy and low current, and also with Smart Homes. In this thesis, there is also an analytical part which is applied to specified building. In this section we have calculation for specific cable, design of wiring materails and calculation of the annual electric energy consumption. Third part includes project with technical report and attachment with drawings.
Modular Display System with LED Diodes
Fňukal, Jiří ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of bachelor thesies is to create a modular display system with LED diodes. The work is divided into three main section. The first section deals with the description of the LED systems available on the market, also contains a description of development platforms. The second part of this work focuses on the industrial buses, with an emphasis on the CAN bus. In the last section is described the design and construction of the LED system. After reading this work, the reader should be able to navigate in LED systems, industrial communication buses and should be able to construct this LED system.
Design of evaluation network for in-vehicle networking communication chips
V příloha obsahuje kompletní schéma modulu, výkresy desek plošných spojů, seznam řídicích příkazů a fotografie modulu.
Laboratory assignment for HCS 08 microcontrollers
Bilík, Jan ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is getting acquainted with serial buses I2C, SPI and 1-Wire and their implementation in communication between microcontroller NXP MC9S08LH64, temperature sensor, real-time clock circuit and shift register. The thesis also focuses on hardware connection with necessary circuits and behaviour of software functions used during data exchange.
M-Bus in building automation
Sluka, Filip ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is about the M-Bus (Meter Bus), which is the industrial bus for the energy consumption data and the state values transmission in the building automation systems. This document describes signal transmission principle, M-Bus protocol, network topology, the types of components, the M-Bus wireless version and also provides summary of the M-Bus technology and the comparison with its alternatives.
USB Host with PIC Microcontrollers
Kučera, Pavel ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The aim of master thesis is implementation of USB host in a microcontroller PIC. The thesis contains description of ways of peripherals to computer connections with detailed description of USB bus. There are also discussed several approaches in implementations USB host for embedded systems. A concept of layered USB host system is designed on the basis of analysis of the state of the art. Finally, the designed system is implemented in microcontroller. Resulting firmware of development kit is tested on real USB device.
ECU controlled car systems
Kadlec, Martin ; Klapka, Milan (referee) ; Strecker, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is to give an overview of the state of knowledge in the field of controlled car systems and to estimate development in the future. The first part describes the basic terms in the field of exist problems. In the next part are detailed analysis of systems with their allocation and definition.
Service data gathering from foring press
Macura, Martin ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This final project consider proposal and implementation data gathering from foring press in heavy industry. I proposed one possible method of saving these data continuously in the files, with the possibility of displaing those data in intranet through web explorer.
Design and production of sample panels with system installation Ego-n
Vašíček, Martin ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development of systems for intelligent building, focused on wiring system, division of them and comparison of their differences. The advantages of these systems like comfort, energy reduction, etc. are also mentioned. Nowadays several standards of systems for intelligent building exist as KNX/EIB or LON, therefore thesis concerns to trade-off these standards too. Main part of the thesis is focused on system Egon made by company ABB where the system concept as well as bus modules are described that allow different functions, mutual connection of modules and their programming. Tutorial panel with ABB Ego-n wiring system, which will be used for study purpose, is designed in the practical part of the work. It includes scheme of the panel, electric linkage of components and photographs of constructed panel as documentation. In the final part of the work two examples of laboratory exercise for installation and setting are listed, including programming description.
SystemC Memory Subsystem
Michl, Kamil ; Vaňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a processor simulation memory subsystem. The memory subsystem is designed using the Transaction Level Modeling approach. The implementation is done in C++ language utilizing the SystemC library. The processor simulation is adopted from the Codasip company simulator. The objective is to create a functional connection between the processor and the memory inside the simulator. This connection supports communication protocols of AHB3-lite, AXI4-lite, CPB, and CPB-lite buses. The new implementation of the aforementioned connection and the memory is integrated into the original simulator. The resulting simulator is tested using unit tests.
