Content of this report describes design, implementation and functionality of a web application, which was developed within bachelor thesis and which purpose is to collect, transfer and present data from devices that are able to provide the data according to OPC standard specification (OLE for Process Control - Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control). The application makes use of client-server architecture. Application back-end is implemented in C# and front-end, which is the subject of this report, uses combination of programming, scripting and markup languages C#, JavaScript, HTML and SVG. Application is being developed for ABB company (who is owner of all source codes) and it is expected to be put into operation in commercial sector. Supported platform is operating system Microsoft Windows 10.
Modern Methods for Tree Graph Structures Rendering
UGE - Import/Export
Kádek, Tibor ; Polášek, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating graphs in application UGE (Universal graphic editor) and facilities it offers for plugins programmers. Goal of the thesis is to design UGML (UGE Graph Markup Language) data format, implement plugin for importing/exporting graph, implement SVG graphic format export and export into several bitmap formats. Thesis extends particular parts of application, especially API (application program interface) and manipulating graphical representation of objects.
Language for Procedural Generation
Dobiáš, Roman ; Káčerik, Martin (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and implementing a library with language devoted to procedural generation extending L-systems. Emphasis is put on practical usage of the library which is aimed to be used by a wide spectrum of real-world applications, especially by 3D rendering engines and editors. The thesis covers theory of procedural generation, L-systems, theory of compilers, and design and implementation of the library. In conclusion, case study projects are introduced which embed the library and numerous examples are given.
On-line computer games
Žamberský, Zdeněk ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with on-line computer games, more precisely web games. First chapter is focused on technologies usable for web game development. Other two chapters are devoted to example aplications, develped as part of this bachelor's thesis.
High-Quality Visualization of Petri Nets for Publishing Purposes
Bednář, Drahoslav ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is trying to solve the problem of graphical visualization of Petri nets in text publications. The aim of the thesis is to create a tool that will simplify generating of Petri nets and at the same time provide a more aesthetic graphical output than existing tools do. A simplex algorithm was used for automatic network layout. The program has both graphical interface and text mode and can cooperate well with existing tools for working with Petri nets, which the text also mentions. The program is able to load a pnml file and produce a usable image in png, pdf, and svg formats.
Support and Utilisation of Modern Web Standards
Švihel, Lukáš ; Petřík, Patrik (referee) ; Šperka, Svatopluk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes use of modern web standards. History of development compared with old version. Also describe every important aspects of elements in HTML5 and CSS3 with acquisition and purpose. The result of this thesis is example web application build on HTML5 and CSS3 which demonstrate their potentiality. This application is web browser of pictures from flickr.com with choise of edit and saves, offline mode and effect improve rich user experience.
Visualization of relations between computers in the Internet
Cimbálek, Přemysl ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) transmits the television signal over the TCP/IP family of protocols. Its advantages are for example that the transmitting is not only one-way as in the “classical” TV broadcasting, but it can provide feedback such as interactivity. There are also some problems which avoids development, for example low channel capacity of access networks. That is why new methods , for example how to get more efficiency in IPTV transmission, are proposed. The main task of this diploma thesis is to visualize tree structure of relations between nodes in the network, based on understanding of principles of the hierarchical summarization and IPTV transmitting. The nodes in the tree structure provide computing and summarizing of the data in back-way channel. There is the data from the end users in this channel. In the first part of this diploma thesis there is explained the principle of IPTV and its differences as compared with classical TV broadcasting. The part is also aimed for the supported services, advantages and disadvantages. There is explained the compressing data with the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standards and problems with transport networks called “last mile problem.” To transmitting data IPTV uses Source Specific Multicast – every user connects to the multicast session with requested TV program. Feedback is provided by unicast. Feedback network uses the hierarchical summarization principle to reduce the data. This problem, connected with RTP, RTCP and TTP protocols, is in the work described as well. There is an international experimental network called PlanetLab mentioned in theoretical part of this work. Proposed structure of new protocol and applications including the visualization for IPTV broadcast, is tested in that network. In the practical part of this work there are discussed possibilities and methods for the visualization and data storage. Because of high availability and flexibility, there were chosen web technologies, such as MySQL for data storage. The tree model is executed by Java. The visualization is solved by web technologies, source code for visualization is dynamically generated by scripts in JSP (Java Server Pages). Graphical output is provided by the vector format SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) which is created for graphical expression on the internet and in the mobile phones. There were created interactive web application thanks its ability to cooperation with Javascript technology. This application visualizes relation-tree structure of nodes. In this work there are explained basics of all used technologies, there are also given reasons for chosen methods and formats. Examples and interesting parts of solution are mentioned as well.
Visualization of multidimensional data using web technologies
Burian, Vojtěch ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Mžourek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Scope of this work is the problematic of data visualization. Data visualization is a useful tool to present and gather new information and thus get to better decisions. In theoretical part, data analysis topics are dealt with. Then specific types of graphs are listed and explained, and in next part problems with graph creation are pinpointed. Basics of graphic and web design are also mentioned. Practical part is focused on visualization of data of processed results of speech analysis, gathered from patients with Parkinson disease. Because majority of people in medical industry do not have, or is not able to work with specialized software (such as Matlab), outputs in HTML table and SVG format were created based on Python programming language. Both these parts are accommodated into webpage, which can be easily opened in web browser installed in most of computers regardless of operation system used.
Web Editor of MusicXML Files
Řešení umožňuje uživateli nahrát/vytvořit a upravovat notový zápis pomocí počítačové myši a výsledek posléze uložit do souboru.
