Evaluating a Company´s Financial Situation

This thesis evaluates the progress and the level of financial stability of the joint–stock company Pivovar Litovel for the years 2002–2007. On a basis of facts-finding about causes of the progress and the types of influence, which are projected on the reached facts, I recommend particular measures for improvement of current standing.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the ADAVAK, s.r.o. Company and Proposals for its Improvement

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is a major financial analysis for the financial period 2006 – 2009 to evaluate the management of the company ADAVAK, s.r.o.. The work is theoreticaly defined and practicaly applied of the horizontal and vertical analysis, differential analysis and financial ratios. Based on the evaluation of the results of financial analysis are identified weaknesses in the management of the company. These issues are solved in the proposal part of the thesis, focusing on appropriate recommendations to improve the current situation of the company management.

MODEL OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF COMPANY AND ITS EFFICIENT IMPLEMENTATION

Objective of doctoral thesis is creation of model of financial management of company based on determining the optimal set of key indicators of success and their interaction principle in order to improve the efficiency of the company. Creation of a model of financial management of the enterprise is based on the study and comparison financial and managerial practices of ten large construction companies located in the Czech Republic and in Portugal. A model has been created that links the methods of financial management and analysis. The model was subsequently successfully tested on two specific companies. It was also proposed methodology, sequence of steps for its implementation and subsequent use in practice. To determine the effectiveness of decisions made, the EVA method was used. The model evaluates the financial condition of the company, determines the dependence of financial stability on external factors, determines the tasks that the company must fulfill in order to increase the company's efficiency.

Financial analysis as a tool for strategic management of a construction company

The aim of the thesis is to propose a solution in the form of a strategic financial management model using financial analysis methods, to formulate recommendations and to develop a methodology for its implementation. The proposed model incorporates the methods of financial analysis and uses mathematical methods to determine the prediction of sales development, which are further used in the strategic management of the company. The proposed model contains 3 steps and the methodology for the process contains 18 steps, on the basis of which it can be applied and used in various construction enterprises. The proposed model is based on the examination of 30 construction companies during the years 2008–2020 and is then applied in a case study to one selected construction company.
