This bachelor’s thesis is aimed on process optimization in hotel services. The solution is focused on processes related with accommodation assured by hotel reception, which lead to elimination of routine activities, the elimination of data duplication and their digitalization. The thesis is divided into three parts, which are devoted to theoretical delimination, analysis and process improvement.

The existence of an information strategy in a company helps to manage the information system and thereby positively affect the achievement of global strategic goals of the company and its overall market success. This thesis focuses on the creation of an information strategy in a company based on the Czech market, in the sector of small and medium-sized companies. The first part presents theoretical basis of the topic. The second part is devoted to a detailed analysis of the current condition of the company and its potential, which makes it possible in the third part, to identify appropriate amendments, which will be implemented within the enterprise information strategy. The proposed changes will be consistent with the overall strategy of the company and lead to better support of the future development of the company in the market.

Business processes in a selected company

The bachelors´s thesis deals with the optimization of business processes in a selected company. The first part describes the theoretical basis for the method of analysis, modeling language and business negotiations. In the second part, analytical, the MMABP method is used for process analysis and qualitative research to obtain data for process optimization. In the third part, proposal, a new proces sis created and solutions are recommended for the company.

This bachelor thesis is focused on business process analysis in Acision ltd. There is the group of specialists or teams chosen, on which the performance analysis is being performed that can serve as the base for further managerial decision making. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part contains description of methods that are used and are applied in practice and might be applicable in Acision ltd. The practical part contains description of business process and business data analysis where modern methods are being used (Business Intelligence – Data mining) and contains own design of how to make data mining applicable upon these process.

Proces Modeling as a Tool for Process Improving

This thesis engages in process modelling and description of selected business processes which are underway in the department of Economy and Operation of the Czech TV, in Television studio in Brno. The process models are created using the CASE tool Adonis. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying important concepts, methodologies and tools in the process management. In the analytical part, the selected processes are thoroughly described and graphically illustrated. The proposal part of the thesis highlights the improvement of selected business processes and assesses their effectiveness.

The work is focused on improving the concept of lean management in a selected engineering company, where analyzes are performed with the help of selected methods and tools to reveal current problems. The data are then processed and based on them, measures for change are proposed with an emphasis on minimizing the rate of waste of time and costs and increasing production efficiency.
