Fraňková, Soňa ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor) ; Půtová, Barbora (referee)
This core work is a mutual comparison approach, which relates to the internal character and motives of the three specific forms of travel: pilgrimage, wandering and hiking. They are presented in chronological order, with an emphasis on comparison, resources, development and continuity of individual approaches. Regarded as the basic motive of these three ways which one sets out of the home; the author considers the human need for change, a desire for knowledge and an escape from everyday life, which are presented in more detail. Notata, quae intra proficiscendum Romam et redeundum vidi vel audivi. Travel records of the priest Matthias Stanislaus Heitzmann about his pilgrimage to Rome in 1659
Šitinová, Ivana ; Hojda, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Chodějovská, Eva (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with travel records of the priest Matthias Stanislaus Heitzmann from Polná, which he wrote up after his pilgrim's journey to Rome in 1659. These notes form part of a manuscript deposited in the State District Archive in Jihlava in the collection of the Dean's Office Polná. The notes are written predominantly in Latin, but partly also in German and Italian. They include descriptions of sacral buildings, enumerations of holy remains deposited there and descriptions of miraculous effects of various preparations and miraculous crosses. A significant part of the notes are moral stories that the author heard during his pilgrimage. The objective of the thesis is to comment on the entire text, to evaluate it as a historical source and to analyze a relationship between the author and his work.

Hůlová, Martina ; Kornatovský, Jiří (advisor) ; Hůla, Zdenek (referee)
This thesis presents my personal view of the art and the world around us. Primary issue is the understanding of life and art as a journey and an infinite search. Based on this perspective, the specific topics like art, forms and means of expression, symbolism, concept of a journey, time and work of different artists are being surveyed both generally and specifically. Through the survey of those topics, connections and coherences are being found. This thesis also consists of an analysis of my own art work (painting) and my didactic praxis together with a subject of didactics. The elements of contemplation penetrate the entire thesis.
