Internet Payment Systems

The main subject of this masters thesis is to familiarize with technologies used to realization of online payment systems on internet. The document is more detailed focused on realization of internet banking, credit card payment, payment via SMS and on systems of internet wallets like PayPal and Moneybookers. There are proposed several criteria that are used to compare the payment methods, what was also a motivation for more detailed study of methods. These payment methods are compared from the user point of view, and from the perspective of integration these systems to the existing applications, which led us to work on the manual with user guides about how to integrate these payment methods to the web sites, what is also a contribution of this masters thesis.
Payments and position of SEPA payments in payment systems

The masters thesis Payments and position of SEPA payments in payment systems deals with the transition of the national payment system to SEPA payment instruments in the Czech Republic, which is coming into force this year. Banks will have to fulfil requirement of interoperability and will have to be able to proceed payments in XML form. The theoretical part defines payments by the payment form and territorial payments in the first chapter. In the 2nd chapter, the legal framework with focus on new legislation affecting the completion and implementation of the SEPA requirements is described. The following two chapters are devoted to payment systems in the Czech Republic, European Union and telecommunication network SWIFT. The 5th chapter discusses about the SEPA project, with the main emphasis on the definition of SEPA instruments. The practical part is dedicated to analysis of foreign payment fees in selected banks with a focus on individuals.

This thesis is concerned with a very dynamic and, at the same time very topical, subject -, namely payment services. Nowadays most payments for goods and services are realised by means of cashless payments. The thesis defines several sections, or partial objectives. The main objective is the characteristic features of payment systems used in the Czech Republic , followed by the analysis of the contemporary payment transactions in the Czech Republic ? organisation. The partial objectives describing payment transactions in the European Union, evaluating payment instruments in practice emphasising topical trends in this area.
Electronic payment systems

The goal of the thesis is to analyze chosen electronic payment systems. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is dedicated to cover types of electronic payment system. Also is devoted to the issues of certain legal aspects that are common to all payment systems; defines the necessary concepts and business entities commonly encountered in the payment processing environment. Practical part focuses on the evaluation of usability, safety and usefulness for merchants mainly working with credit cards and particularly with alternative payment system like PayPal, iDEAL, Sofortbanking and Webmoney. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of certain payment systems. Describes the practical applicability of PCI DSS and 3-D Secure protocol.
The use of Internet in business in Czech Republic: analysis

This diploma thesis analyses the use of Internet in business in Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into several chapters, where the author briefly discusses the development of Internet infrastructure in Czech Republic and the history of Czech e-business. Furthermore the author discusses and analyses the use of Internet and related services and tools for business in Czech Republic. The payment systems and methods of Internet advertising are discussed and individually compared in a separate section of the thesis. Chapters 3 and 4 analyze current (February 2009) statistical data on Internet use in business in general and for the Internet advertising market in detail. Finally, the author points out some common mistakes entrepreneurs make regarding the use of Internet.
Interbank payment systems in the Czech and Hungarian Republic

This bachelor thesis is an analysis about interbank payment systems operating in the Czech and Hungarian Republic. In the introduction, you will find a description of the general forms of payments and payment systems. It follows a detailed characterization of the Czech clearing centre CERTIS and their Hungarian equivalents VIBER and BKR. After the depiction of the historical development and the legislative arrangement of each system, it focuses on the main principles of their operation, the different ways of participating in these systems, the security level of the system, and the pricing policy of their operators. The thesis also contains a direct comparison of the selected aspects of the mentioned systems, whereas it keeps the latest published statistical data. In the end of the thesis, you will find a brief summary of the newest trends observable by the payment systems of the surveyed lands.
