The road bridge
Doležal, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Puchner, Josef (advisor)
This master' thesis deal with the desiggning of steel bearing structure of road bridge with span of 48,5m with lower bridge deck, which cross local road over the river Thaya in the town Znojmo. Three variants have been designed of arched bridge. The most economical variant was prepared in detail and wascarried out static assessment of individual elements and selected details. In detail solved variant is the bridge with free staing arches and lower bredge deck with composite crosspiece. The span of bridge is 48,5m, width of bridge is 11,5meters, free width of main trafic area 6,5m. Camber of bridge 8,0m
Bridge across the river Svitava
Mičánek, Ondřej ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of superstructure of footbridge over the Svitava river. The design is processed by three options. The chosen option is designed as an arch bridge with a lower prestressed bridge deck, suspended on a steel arch. Bridge is designed as perpendicular, simply placed on the outer supports. The lenght of of the superstructure is 46,8 m. and the lenght of the bridging is 44 m. The steel arch is designed as a second stage parabola with a 6 m stiffness. The calculation of load effects was done by SCIA Engineer 2017 software. Design and structural assessment reports are designed according to the valid standards and regulations.
Steel structure of the bridge on the road
Vlček, Radek ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The content of the thesis is a proposal of steel load-bearing structure (carrying structure of a steel) bridge of the span of 31+74+31m with the bottom bridge deck taking over the second-class road in the territory of Olomouc city. The bridge deck is created by composite steel-concrete slab with crossbars. The solution was focused on using arched construction in the middle of the bridge with different tilt of arches to the horizontal central axis of the bridge. Under the term of the solution four alternatives have been calculated. The most optimal solution was selected and processed in detail. The calculations were made in compliance with the Czech technical norms ČSN EN.
Arch bridge over a highway
Pěkník, Robin ; Zobek, Svatopluk (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is design of road bridge over highway D1 by the city Přerov. From the three proposed solutions has been chosen bridge with self-anchored arched structure which is good for deep notch. The concrete bridge was designed and assessed according to current Eurocodes. The thesis includes detailed structural analysis, drawings and visualization of the bridge. The analysis was performed using software Scia Engineer including time dependent analysis (TDA). Assessment of structure was made in Excel or by hand.
Design of the road bridge in Brno
Kutálek, Jiří ; Čihák, Petr (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a design of a highway bridge across the Svratka river in Brno. Among three options, the arch bridge with a trapezoidal bridge deck from prestressed concrete was chosen. The load effect is calculated with the assistance of Scia Engineer software. The design and the assessment of the structure are made for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Static assessment is done by hand calculation according to CSN EN 1992-2. The thesis includes drawings and visualizations of the bridge structure.
Highway arch bridge
Vavřička, Lukáš ; Šopík,, Leonard (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis was a design of arch highway bridge made of prestressed reinforced concrete. In the beginning two versions of construction were designed, with box-girder and double-girder cross section of bridge deck, from which the variant of double-girder cross section in combination with box-girder arch were chosen for further detail postprocessing. The basics of the solution laid in right choice of dimensions of elements creating load-bearing system and construction geometry. Subsequently global beam model was created, which was used to prestress design and structural assessment of ultimate and serviceability limit states of pillars, arches and bridge deck during the building phases, service lifetime and in the end of lifetime of construction. For detail assessment, linear and nonlinear analysis was created using Midas Civil. To check the cross-sectional direction of bridge deck, slab model was made using Scia Engineer software
Road bridge in the village Ždár nad Sázavou
Pylypenko, Jevhenij ; Šiška, Radek (referee) ; Strnad, Jiří (advisor)
The final thesis is focused on design of the superstructure of a new concrete bridge in city Žďár nad Sázavou, Kraj Vysočina. The bridge should serve for passing roadway, cycle path and pavement across the river Sázava. The base for bridge design include the measured terrain. The static system is self-anchored system of arch, braces and prestressed semi-through deck. The bridge span is 74,02. Arch span is 57,00 m with high 12,00 m. Construction was assessed by the ultimate limit state and service limit state according to recent standards (Eurocode).

Bridge over railway line and river
Kalísová, Eva ; Zobek, Svatopluk (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a bridge in Most. It bridges the railway line and the river Bílina. Three possible variants have been proposed. One of the variants has been selected and further elaborated. The solved variant was an arc with a suspended pre-stressed bridge beam. The supporting element is a reinforced concrete backbone. The construction is built on a ring. Static analysis partly includes the effect of phased construction. The design was assessed according to EN.
