The diploma thesis deals with the design of a bridge in Most. It bridges the railway line and the river Bílina. Three possible variants have been proposed. One of the variants has been selected and further elaborated. The solved variant was an arc with a suspended pre-stressed bridge beam. The supporting element is a reinforced concrete backbone. The construction is built on a ring. Static analysis partly includes the effect of phased construction. The design was assessed according to EN.

The subject of work is design supporting bridge construction at urban area Frydlant across creet Rasnice. This object location is on the local road at cross point 0,079 km. The aim is to propose a vertical structure with one field, proposes to adapt the position in, which is proposed in three variants. It is a variant changes shape supporting structures, the maximum height oh the structure is 0,645m. The first variant is a slab constant rectangular section.The seccond variant is a slab of variable selection with beveled the slope. The third is slope shape of parabole 2. Selected by detail and assessment the first variant was chosen with a longth of bridge 8m. The calculation of load effects is done by computer softwares Scia Engineer 15.3 and compared with a manual calculation according to current standards.

Public Sentiments in Japan at the turn of 1920s and 1930s

This bachelor thesis deals with topic of Japanese nationalism and its rise in Japanese liberal- democratic society before second world war. I focus mainly on period of 1920s and 1930s, when numerous breakthrough events occur that deeply undermined trust in democracy and Western world. In the first half of my thesis I analyze economic, internal and foreign policy factors and their negative impact on society, which contributed to rise of radical feelings. For better understanding of success of nationalism I introduce Japanese version of this ideology with its thoughts and ideas. Thesis ends with terrorist assassinations of nationalist groups which represents first noticeable and alarming consequences caused by this radicalization of society that led country into war.
