The diploma thesis includes the assessment, analysis and preparation of proposals to improve the efficiency and security of the information system and the company itself operating in the field of translation and localization services. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical background related to the problem of the thesis. The second part is dedicated to the business, its analysis and the analysis of its internally developed information system. Based on the results of these analyses, the final part of the thesis will propose changes that will lead to the simplification of business processes and increase the productivity of the company.

This diploma thesis focuses on analysis, evaluation and improvement proposals for an information system used by a specific company from the insurance business. The company offers services to insurance companies, such as motor vehicle or property inspection and damage assessment. The first part describes the theory related to the main focus areas of this thesis. The second part contains an overview of the company, its analysis as well as evaluation of the information system used within the company. Finally, a set of proposals will be formulated, based on the outcomes of company and information system evaluation, aiming to simplify company processes and increase company’s productivity.

The diploma thesis deals with assessment of the information system of selected company which focuses on providing services in financial field. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical background and analytical methods are presented, which are used in the analytical part. The second part of the thesis presents the company, its analysis and information system analysis. Based on this, the final part of the thesis proposes a change that leads to the efficiency of processes in the company and to the elimination of detected deficiencies.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the description of a chosen company, analysis of its current state and competitive environment and identification of its information technologies. The work also provides an application design for the company, which is meant to store data about products purchased by customers and to monitor the regularity of service inspections. The main advantage of the application is the automation of cooperation with clients and providing an overview concerning the status of individual products.

Study of Digitization in the Production Process of a Selected company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the current situation of the company in terms of automation and digitization of its production process and the subsequent de-sign of measures respecting the principles of lean manufacturing, which aim to help the company achieve its goals and gain a competitive advantage in the market. An integral part of this work is also the subsequent discussion of the conditions necessary for suc-cessful implementation, as well as discussion of the resulting risks and benefits of the proposed measures.

Competition analysis of ski schools

Title: Competition analysis of ski schools Objectives: The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to compare the two strongest ski schools in a region in the Czech Republic, which is achieved by analysing the internal environment of the two selected ski schools. The marketing research is carried out by means of in-depth interviews with the managers of each ski school. Based on the marketing research, the ski schools are compared. The result of the work simplifies the decision-making process of users and employees and proposes recommendations to managers taking into account these results. Methods: The qualitative research method is used in this thesis. For qualitative research, the main method is in-depth interviews with ski school managers, which are combined with document analysis. Based on the information obtained, the McKinsey 7S model is constructed, which helps to identify strengths and weaknesses. These factors are evaluated using the IFE matrix. The paper concludes with a comparison of the internal environment of the companies. Results: The result of the work is an internal analysis of two ski schools in a region in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on assessing the information production system of a company and proposing improvements. The theoretical part describes the concepts related to this topic. The theoretical part is followed by an analytical section focused on analyzing the external and internal environment of the company and its production information system, evaluating its overall effectiveness and security. Based on the findings from the analytical section, a proposal for addressing identified deficiencies is presented in the final section of the thesis.
