Analysis of managerial styles within a business

This thesis focuses on analysis of the managerial styles. The main aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze different managerial styles and approaches to leadership of a selected managers. Evaluate them and make recommendations to increase effectiveness of those managers. The work is divided into two parts. The first section is theoretical part and describes fundamental terms, managerial work and managerial styles classification. The second section is practical part. At the beginning contains basic characteristics of chosen business and managers. In the next part the managerial styles are examined through GRID and MBTI questionnaires as well as individual interviews with the managers. The conclusion of the thesis contains the summary of the findings and recommendations for improving the work of managers.

Management 3.0; Virtualni management s gamifikovanymi aspekty

The aim of this paper is to analyse gamification practices as well as to study management by personalities. Upon this basis the objective will be to design a management software for the new management era that will collect large quantities of data about individual team members (Big Data-based software), thus enabling managers to allocate new team members onto teams upon their personalities, skills and experience in gamified user interface. The ultimate goal of this paper will be to serve as guidebook for managers to manage by knowing the variety of personalities as well as by applying gamification elements onto everyday tasks.

Gender Studies na VŠE (aneb Ženy v ekonomii vs. typ osobnosti)

The main aim of this thesis was answering the question, if lack of women in the economics is caused by discrimination or if personality type affects successful passing of advance economic courses. Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) was used for purposes of this thesis as the most convenient personality type indicator. This thesis tested several hypotheses resulting from expected correlation between personality type, gender (both for students and teachers) and final results. Paper showed correlation between gender and final result and also between some personality types and grade. Paper also disclosed interesting correlations between final grade and other variables unique for testing system at the University of Economics, Prague.

Enhancement of the teamwork effectivity

The bachelor thesis is focused to the question how to make the teamwork more effective. The main part of the work analyses principal techniques of teamwork, methods of goals setting and key characteristics of the team-leader role, his management style and motivation. Another important theme examined in the thesis is enhancement of the cooperation in a team by understanding the personality typology called MBTI. Finally, the theoretical teamwork issues are demonstrated on a study of an example of a concrete team's teambuilding.

This work inscribe to psychodiagnostic in the area project management. Its aim be fitted project manager knowledges and methods, which they may improve the quality of his work. Describes, which sense has understand human personality at work on project. Start of work bring out terms like project, project manager plus Psycho - diagnostics. Then is work focus on subject field personalities and acquaint with theories typology from known authors plus describes tests personalities, which there're: method MBTI, Hogan personality test , Belbin team roles. Next part is devoted to cognitive psychology, performance tests and illustration conception of intelligence. Are there circumscribed tests attention, creativity and intelligence. Follows presentation company providing software services and productions for profiling personalities. Project manager are advised preferable tools for his work.
