Web applications and Web services in C#
Vybíral, Petr ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis is focused on creating Web applications and services using the programming language C# and the Microsoft development environment Visual Studio 2010. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first one examines the ASP.NET technologies for the development of Web applications and services. It provides insight into the areas currently used in ASP.NET. In addition to this, it presents the development of versions, functions and components of this technology. The second chapter deals with the properties and use of Web services. The instructions for creating simple Web services and services for complex mathematical operations follow. Its functions are used by the console clients and the clients with user interface. The third chapter focuses on the development of a fullWeb application for booking classrooms and laboratories. There is a procedure for creating a database, setting up the project and the use of technology for proper functioning of the applications. At the end of the chapter, using the application supplemented with the screenshots is presented to the user.
Planning and Monitoring of Time Management for Windows Phone
Popelka, Karel ; Kajan, Rudolf (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the development of an application for planning and monitoring of time management. As the target architecture, Windows Phone 8 was chosen with aiming at intuitive user interface. The application is implemented using MVVM design pattern by platform-recommended C# language. The user interface is built by using the XAML language. The result is a user friendly application suitable for organizing common activities. The main feature of this thesis is understanding of platform recommendations for Windows Phone 8 as well as friendly user interface principles. The conclusion includes a detailed description of application testing and an assessment of respondent reactions.
Usage of Design Patterns in Software Development
Volf, Jiří ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The objective of my MSc Thesis was to map over reasons, why are design patterns so popular in the modern information systems and other applications development. It is considering with the basic aspects of object-oriented systems, expounds the importance and structure of design patterns. The explication is followed by categorization of design patterns and in more detail is focused on the most frequently used design patterns including their contribution or complications, which could eventually occur. The advantages of design with design patterns are demonstrated on practical example of database application.
Web Application for Suctions, Companies Search and Evaluation
Kürti, Szabolcs ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with creation of information systems. The aim of this project was to create a usable web portal for auctions, company search and evaluation. This paper contains a detailed analysis on requirements, the main concept and implementation of the solution. In this thesis I also present how can developers benefit from the usage of spiral model of software development. The system was implemented by the following technologies: C#, ASP .NET, LINQ, object-relational mapping and JavaScript.
Information System for Restaurants and Bars
Mašlaň, Petr ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study methods for requirement determination and specification methods to create information system on the .NET platform which will be specialized for restaurant and bar establishments. The information system will be therefore process and archive informations about condition of goods, employee's schedule of working shifts, summary of incomes and expenses and book of norms.
.NET's LINQ Optimization
Šerý, Daniel ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with LINQ (Language integrated query) and investigates possibilities of its implementation and optimization in C# language. Method of rewriting of query to procedural code is chosen and implemented. The goal is to provide a LINQ that can be used in code with the need for high speed.          Regarding the program created for rewriting LINQ queries, the performance of most operators has been increased by 1.2x to 20x of System.Linq speed depending of rewritten algorithm, data source and provided information to rewriting program.
Front-end frameworks for ASP.NET Core web applications
Kozhukhov, Konstantin ; Harár, Pavol (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I deal with design and implementation of a web application servingas information system for storage of electronic components. The first two chapters ofthis work deal with the theoretical analysis and description of technologies that will beused in the application, while the last chapter is dedicated to implementation. The goalof the resulting program is a simple demonstration of the use of the platform ASP.NETCore with a framework DotVVM.
Safe Communication App for Windows Phone
Vícha, Tomáš ; Veľas, Martin (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the application development for secure communication between two users. The description begins with the analysis of already existing solutions, continues with the design of the user interface and the determination of requirements. There is also described a selection of suitable technologies and stages of application development together with its testing. The result of this work is an user-friendly application for the Windows Phone platform that performs end-to-end encryption of individual messages.
.NET library for the MediaWiki API
Onderka, Petr ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (referee)
.NET library for the MediaWiki API Abstract: MediaWiki wikis provide their users an API, that can used to programmatically access the wiki. This API is large, changes frequently and can be different from wiki to wiki, so it can be a challenge to write a library for accessing the API. This thesis describes LinqToWiki, a library that can be used to access the Me- diaWiki API from C# or other .NET languages. Thanks to the use of LINQ and code generation through Roslyn, code written using this library is readable, discoverable, strongly-typed and flexible.
Proposal of Database System for Event Management
Sekula, Radim ; Klusák, Aleš (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with the proposal of database system for event management according to the requirements of the client, which is ANeT-Advanced Network Technology, Ltd. The first part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical bases of database systems and object-oriented programming focusing on .NET Framework. In the second part the current situation and the specific needs of the company are analyzed, and based on this analysis a solution proposal is created in the third part.
