Geographical origin of alien plants in the Czech Republic
Kopicová, Irena ; Chuman, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matějček, Tomáš (referee)
The topic of the proposed thesis is the geographical origin of non-native species of plants in the Czech Republic and it deals with non-native plants while identifying their phyto- areas. The causes of introduction, plant characteristics as well as ecological consequences, gains and dangers for the biodiversity in the Czech Republic are also assessed. The thesis is divided into two parts with first part dealing with a theoretical introduction in a form of a literary research on the geographic origin of non-original species of higher plants in the Czech Republic. Here, the basic terminology is discussed and so are specific issues. A chapter dealing with neo-phytes contains also a subsection on invasive plants, where it was necessary to stress their potential threat to ecosystems. Second part is devoted to the application of the topic in the education of geography by creating a work sheet and by defining main terminology for high school students. The aim is to encourage students to think about which plants are important, where they come from and why and how they reached us. Likewise, it is important that students could reflex on how non- native plants may affect the ecosystem in which they had been introduced.
Divergence and variability of genus Euscorpius in Europe
Novotný, Tomáš ; Šťáhlavský, František (advisor) ; Hula, Vladimír (referee)
This Bachelor of Science thesis summarizes current knowledge about the species diversity and distribution of European scorpions of the genus Euscorpius. In this area it is the most species-rich genus of scorpions with significant additions to the total number of recognized species during the past decade from five species in 1999 to 17 species nowadays. This is primarily due to the use of molecular characters (especially the analysis of mitochondrial 16S RNA gene), allowing a better understanding of the variability of some morphological and morphometric characters. This work summarizes historical concepts of species variation and the use of the different types of characters in the genus Euscorpius. The distribution of the species currently recognized is described together with known factors that may affect it. The distribution of scorpions in the Czech Republic is included as a special chapter. Some species are suspected to have been accidentally introduced into new regions of Europe, of which the best example is E. tergestinus which has been introduced into Bohemia.
Risks arising from breeding and introduction of aquarium snails
Jarošová, Martina ; Vrabec, Vladimír (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
Information was gathered regarding all aquarium and already introduced alien snail species (Gastropods), which are being imported to Europe. For the integrity of the research non-native and aquarium clams (Bivalve) were also included. Profiles of species were created based on collected information and the data were subsequently used for creating questionnaires. Questionnaires of each species were processed by FI - ISK, version 1.19 screening tool. Score of invasiveness risk potential was evaluated for each species individually. Surveyed taxa were divided into three groups according to their scores: low risk, medium risk and high risk. Celetaia persculpta was evaluated as aquarium snail (Gastropods) with the lowest risk for native fauna of Czech Republic. According to the results, Pomacea maculata and Pomacea canaliculata are the aquarium snails (Gastropods) with the highest invasiveness risk potential. The riskiest introduced species is Potamopyrgus antipodarum. Scabies crispata and Hyriopsis bialata are clams (Bivalve) with the least risk for the native fauna of Czech Republic. Corbicula fluminea and Dreissena polymorpha were analyzed as clams (Bivalve) with the highest invasiveness risk potential. By comparing aquarium species with species that were already introduced into Czech nature, I conclude that the aquarium snails (clams) do not represent similar risk like the alien species that were introduced without the share of aquarists.
Veleslavín´s Publishing Program and its (Non)realization in the Veleslavín´s Printing Office
POZLEROVÁ, Jana
The thesis will look into the publishing program of Daniel Adam of Veleslavín as formulated in introductions and dedications of his printings. Then we will compare it with the realization in his publishing activity (to the list of production of veleslavin printer in Bohatcová 2005). The target of this thesis will also be a critical inspection of the interpretation of Daniel Adam of Veleslavin as the main representative of popularised phase of the national humanism (see Kopecký 1962).

Product introduction to the market
SCHWARZOVÁ, Martina
This bachelor thesis focuses on the description of an introduction of a new product to the market and the proposal of the recommendation. The theoretical part explains all main elements such as marketing, marketing mix, product cycle or competition, which are necessary for understanding this thesis. The next part of this work is based on the introduction of a selected company and the introduction of a new product. I have chosen company Pokorný Dačice. This is a small company which produces tools for plastics and plastic parts for the car industry, electrical engineering and medical producers. This company also focuses on the needs for beekeepers. The product is a new type of a plastic bee hive. The work concludes with an evaluation of the new product on the market and recommendation for a potential improvement and a solution of the current situation.

Bachelor work deals with the management of sika deer on area Manětínsko. Furthermore, sika deer biology, the parasites, introduction, crossing forest with deer, damage caused to the field and forest cultures and Hunting management of this game. Recorded the breeding and hunting of wild game in the monitored area. The following describes the local hunting conditions and suitability for breeding deer stags with the recommendation of measures for the future. Patient selfcare with nostrils-stomach tube
BLABOLILOVÁ, Alena
In the theoretical part anatomical sections of the digestive tract from the oral cavity to the small intestine are described. Possible indications for nasogastric probe placement, the method for placement and care of this invasive input are also discussed. A questionnaire investigation was conducted. With an agreement of the head nurse the questionnaire inquiry was carried out in the Jablonec nad Nisou hospital. 7 patients with a nasogastical probe and 47 nurses form surgical and internal departments took part in the investigation. Closed questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. We focused on patients´ experience concerning limitations caused by the probe, such as fluid and food intake, breathing, hygiene, sleeping, dressing, walking, contact with their neighbourhood, whether they feel ashamed and who helps them eliminate the deficit in these activities. We also assessed the attitude of nurses working in surgical and internal departments to the same activities in patients with a nasogastric probe. The opinions of nurses and patients were compared. The investigation aimed at the group of nurses was extended by questions about nursing standards for the care of patients with a nasogastric probe. Information obtained in this thesis will serve the hospital Jablonec nad Nisou management as a basis for evaluating suitability of recasting nursing standards relating to the care for patients with a nasogastric probe. It may also be a stimulus to organize professional seminars on the subject not only for nurses, but also for doctors in the future.
