Baroque flute and historical development of opinions on the interpretation of the flute literature
KOPSOVÁ, Andrea
This work is dealing with progression and interpretation of transverse flute with a special emphasis on the baroque flute focusing on the interpretative aspect of contemporary interest in this musical instrument. The evolution of a flute will be monitored from the very inception, whose testimony is provided by archaelogical discoveries, over antiquity and medieval to renesance, where we can observe much more comprehensive and specific information of development of this musical instrument, whose tones accompany humankind in varios forms for centuries. In next pages the work deals with the crucial period in which this flute was very widespread, namely the Baroque style, where the period interpretation of the baroque transverse flute will be described. We will approach the history of our musical instrument in the work to around the year of 1916, where we will learn about the type of so-called multi-flaps flute. In the final part we will get to workshops of current major manufacturers producing these period instruments, such as Martin Wenner, Boaz Berney, Rudolf Tutz and more. We will also take a look at the pictures of the flute in fine arts, poetry and we will present concrete works of art in the form of paintings, engravings and statues.
Czech Radio Dvojka - building contact with the audience
Ježek, Michal ; Jirák, Jan (advisor) ; Groman, Martin (referee)
The master's thesis Czech Radio Dvojka - building contact with the audience analyses the instruments, which is this station used to address listeners, respectively the recipients of media content. The thesis is based on the theoretical framework which is postulated by the sociologist John B. Thompson in the book The Media and Modernity, on his triad of interactions, which characterizes the effect of communication media. Whereas the first type "mediated quasi- interaction" characterizes unidirectional transmission of the radio station to a listener, the other two types - "mediated interaction" and "face to face interaction" characterize ways how the medium could overcome this unidirectional communication. Therefore this master's thesis analyses the selected programs of the station Czech Radio Dvojka, which represent these mentioned types. Thereafter the qualitative analysis analyses especially the instruments of moderators with use of the triple coding's type (open coding, axial coding, selective coding), because the moderators represent the station and substantially determine its communicative style. The master's thesis wants to verify the premise that the moderators significantly contribute to creating of impression, that the communication between the radio station (the media house) and listeners...
Device equipement of the paragliding pilot
Mrázek, Martin ; Dvorský, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Fiala, Miloš (referee)
Name of thesis Flight equipment and its importance in efficiency categories of paragliding Abstract: The goals The goal of this thesis is to find out appropriate instruments and the dependence of their using on the performance category of pilot. Practical contribution of this thesis will be find out the most frequent usage of the instruments between pilots and how important they are for pilots. Methods The thesis is compiled in the form of quantitative research. For the collection of data we have chosen questionnaries, which were situated in a paragliding web. Results Detected facts represent that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, for who instruments are important, is increased. The next fact represent, that with increasing efficiency category, the count of respondents, who have and use instruments, is increased. The most important instrument for all efficiency categories is variometr and then GPS. Key words Paragliding, instruments, efficiency category, importance.
Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment training I assessed by its trainees
Havlíková, Vladana ; Seidlová Málková, Gabriela (advisor) ; Májová, Ludmila (referee)
This work focuses on the form of instructor training in the method of Instrumental Enrichment at the FIE I (Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment I) course. Another key issue is monitoring of the professional structure of the course's attenders and the changes it undergoes with the introduction of a new instructor trainer to The Czech Republic. Next goal of the work is to explore how are the participants of the course motivated to work with this method and to cover potentional difficulties with putting it into practise as perceived by the participants themselves. Appart from covering how participants' motivation fluctuated during the course the practical part of the work also focuses on the participant's assesment of the course itself while trying to register anticipated changes in their thinking over its duration. For better understanding attenders' attitude to topics they assessed (whether it is about tools - the Instruments, a difficult sections of the lecture or technical terminology from the field of mediated learning) this work includes a brief presentation of Feuerstein's educational theory. KEY WORDS: Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment - FIE I, mediated learning, Instruments, motivation, putting the method into practise, professional structure of attenders
Instruments of foreign policy of small states - Taiwan's economic and public diplomacy
Průchová, Kristýna ; Fürst, Rudolf (advisor) ; Karásek, Tomáš (referee)
Taiwan is still in partial diplomatic isolation. As a small country with a limited share in world affairs is not only limited by his specific requirements, but also to the instruments that are entitled to use. The only way to escape from this situation means expanding the number of diplomatic allies and efforts for integration into international structures. Recommended tools for small state foreign policy used to achieve its objectives, primarily by soft power. Based on the classification of Taiwan as a small state, the recommended instruments are of public and economic diplomacy. They act through creating a positive image of the country abroad and various forms of foreign assistance. Taiwan needs to gather as much support from the general public in different countries. A strong motivation for him is his effort to build its own space and fixed position for national survival and growth in China's shadow. By defining each of the central concepts, integrating Taiwan into the actual facts and the application of selected instruments for Taiwan's foreign policy terms there is built a connection between the small states issue and areas of economic and public diplomacy as soft power tools of Taiwan's foreign policy.
Zhodnocení stávajícího stavu stavby kravína v Zubčicích z hlediska mikroklimatických a stavebně technických podmínek
STUDENÁ, Sandra
The thesis deals with the specific agricultural buildings for housing and breeding of dairy cows in terms of civil engineering and microclimatic conditions. The theoretical part describes the requirements for microclimate in stables, general and legislative requirements for indoor environmental quality, methods and tools for measuring microclimate, materials and construction of stable objects for cattle breeding. The second (practical) part of the thesis shows the research of selected buildings. This part examines the internal microclimate of the stables and technical condition of the buildings. It is based on the author's own investigation and measurement. The results are then presented in the form of charts and graphs. Finally the thesis evaluates and suggests steps to create the best possible microclimate conditions throughout the year, regardless of the season.

Creation of Apple iPhone Applications
Ondrůj, Daniel ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a tutorial that could help developers interested in creating new applications for Apple iPhone to pass their initial unfamiliarity with the phone, its development environment, the programming language and the use of other components of the phone. The tutorial should be helpful for readers who have at least basic knowledge of the application development. There are also some useful links for readers who have no previous knowledge of programs' development. These materials describe some basic features and then clarify the common issues in more depth. Not only does this tutorial describe the phone's features and development tools, it also explains development procedures of concrete application. The phone has been introduced with a lot of new features such as accelerometer, large touch screen, etc. Therefore the application is trying to take advantage of most of these characteristics. The motive of this application stems from the old Russian game Tetris. This document describes only the functional and graphical design, concrete implementation and the source code are included in attachments.
