Formula Car Front Wheel Carrier Simulation Analysis
Gach, Jakub ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is focused on the suspension of the front wheel, more accurately for specific part, upright. It describes the basic requirements for construction, distribution of uprights, their method of production and types of materials used. It briefly mentions topology optimization and its two optimization methods. Also deals with vehicle dynamics for driving conditions – standing vehicle, braking and cornering. In the practical part, the work is focused on determining the load effects on the upright during the aforementioned driving conditions using MBS software. At the end of the work, FEM stress and deformation analyses are performed for loading on the wheel side and on the suspension side, which are then compared and evaluated.
Switch optimization in converged network
Švec, Adam ; Sobek, Jiří (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Switch Optimization in a Converged Network thesis discusses the role of the Ethernet switch in the network. It describes differences between the switch and the hub in the network and the impacts on the collision domain size. In the converged network, priority data switching according to their origin and thus the qualitative point of view is also addressed - e-mails, voice services and multimedia will each behave differently. A real element, switch L3 - a switch with services quality support - is mentioned. The tool Matlab - Simulink is briefly described and a functional simplified model of the ethernet switch was created. Furthermore, the topic was used as a theme for a laboratory task in the subject Services of Telecommunication Networks. A model for Simulink and an example of the laboratory protocol for the created task are attached to the thesis.
Analyssis of shaped rotary parts technology.
Seidlman, František ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is concerned in questions of producing rotary parts. It includes primary partition of rotary parts. Furthermore description and characteristic separate technologies and methods of production, basic cutting parameters, machinery and tools. The Bachelor thesis conludes with a assessment of producing and future development.
Nemocnice – Bohunice public transport hub in Brno with settting – back track tramway terminus
Vaculíková, Barbora ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Pavlíček, Jan (advisor)
In my master thesis I deal with a design reconstruction of the current public transport terminus of Nemocnice - Bohunice. Terminus layout includes transfering the tramway line from Osová stop to the hub, the new tramway stop is a setting-back track. There is preserved the utilization of hub by existing city and regional lines of buses and troley buses and newly established regional bus lines (401,402,403,404) and also the entrance to the Bohunice hospital parking in the design. This design provides a safe flow of passengers and pedestrians and their safe road crossing.
Formula Front Wheel Carrier Design Modification
Lněnička, Martin ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the structural design of front wheel hub of Formula Student the car categories in the CAD system. It includes comparison to proposal design of the hubs, different concept of wheel-seat and wheel suspension of a formula cars and a motor-cars. There is described a few version of design front wheel carrier. The first step is proposed assembly wheel of Formula Student and the next step is realized analytic simulation a stress by FEM of the front wheel carrier and his construction modifications.
Vehicle Wheel Hubs Design
Mohyla, Daniel ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of a wheel hub assembly for a Formula Student vehicle. First part of this thesis is dedicated as an introduction to the Formula Student competition and serves as a summary of design solutions for wheel hubs with a focus on open wheel vehicles. Second part deals with description of a problem and summarizes necessary knowledge and information to solve given problem. Third part is devoted to CAD modelling in software PTC Creo parametric. This model is then analysed using finite element method. Last part of this thesis is a discussion about achieved results and discussion about further potential improvements is carried out.
Riverside House
Kučavík, Patrik ; Kopec, Jakub (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
Business Moves East is a place to work and relax not only for a direct residents and residents of wider London but also to people from all over the world. This is an opportunity for international businesses and entrepreneurs to present themselves in a strategic location. The largest building is the exhibition Expo hall including also other relevant functions. Another object is a smaller exhibition hall, that, in addition to exhibitions, allows organizing concerts, special events, conferences and other cultural events. This is followed by a cell-based building that serves a long-term presentation of companies and individuals in the form of showrooms and open studios. Shared offices in the southern part of the premises are primarily designed for people using airport services and residents who are tempted to work in a dynamic campus environment. The whole area sits on the market.
The influence of the hub on discharge and efficiency of the swirl turbine
Husák, Martin ; Koutný, Luděk (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim is to determine by numerical modeling the influence of the hub on discharge and efficiency of the swirl turbine. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge about water turbines. In the main part is done hydraulic design of turbine, create model in Inventor, export geometry in Gambit and build mesh. Then it is described the solution methodology in Fluent, evaluation of computed data and their presentation in the form of tables and graphs
New laboratory exercises in OMNeT++ network simulator
Vlašín, Martin ; Polák, Josef (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with creating four laboratory tasks using simulation tool OMNeT++ and Inet Framework extension. Subject matter of these designed tasks is focused on routing protocols, providing quality of service, computer networking technologies used in local area networks and comparison of active networking devices. First task contains the comparison of behaviour and routing techniques between protocols RIPv2 and OSPFv2, including the effect of dividing OSPF network into smaller areas. Second task is focused on various techniques for controlling quality of service, namely FIFO queue, PQ and WFQ. Main goal is the comparison of results, that define quality of network services. Third task compares networking technologies, Ethernet and WLAN, parameters of transmission. Fourth task offers comparison of networking devices, hub, switch and router. This paper also contains required theory of network technologies and software tools used for executing simulations.
Transit Hub Brno - Merhautova
Krejčí, Petr ; Pavlíček, Jan (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the reconstruction of the intersection of streets Merhautova and Provazníkova in Brno in means of to establish a comfortable transit hub between all passing lines. The reconstruction of the intersection includes a proposal for new tram stops and adjustment of pedestrian routes allowing easy transfer between cruise lines, trolley buses and trams.
