The long-term accumulation of solar collectors and the subsequent use of the heat
Litera, Jiří ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the design and evaluation of the long-term accumulation of solar collectors and the subsequent use of the heat. The basic principles of the use of solar energy are introduced in the theoretical part as well as the list of available heat pumps, solar collectors moreover options for the accumulation of heat are evaluated. In the practical part the system of a long-term heat accumulation for a partially restored family house is designed, where accumulation into water or gravel are the two presented options. Solar energy is collected by solar collectors and accumulated in the long term storage. The system involves water to water or ground to water heat pump that reduces the temperature of the reservoir in order to increase the temperature difference of the system. Both options require a large volume of heat collecting, including large surface of solar collectors. Because of the high cost and spatial requirements the system shows to be hardly realistic in practice. For this reason an alternative solution of a family house heating system more suitable from the economic point of view is described. As a result it was proved that system of the long-term accumulation is not an appropriate solution for heating system of family houses and it is used in places with enough space for the accumulation such as high capacity trays or flooded mines. For existing family houses (partly insulated and with a heat source such as natural gas) the usage of the heat pump eventually supported by solar collectors appears as the most sensible solution. Such solution shows a return of investment from 14 to 25 years, and contributes to sustainable development and to reduction of non-renewable primary energy.
Sanitation installation and gas installation in asylum house
Hadačová, Jana ; Bárta, Ladislav (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with health-technical and gas piping in the asylum building. The topic Rain Water Handling is the theoretical part where the usage of water is discussed according to the legal regulations and its functionality. The computational and project part deals with sewerage, water and gas distribution system in this two floors non-cellar asylum building. This bachelor thesis is written according to Czech and European regulations.
Sanitation installation and gas installation in multifunctional building
Vaněk, Ondřej ; Bárta,, Ladislav (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
Bachelor Thesis ,,Technical and gas installations inmulti-building‘‘ is processed in the form of project documentationplumbing and gas installations for building construction in accordance with applicable regulations. Two-storey building is designed, besement. The building is used on the first floor of the municipal office and on the second floor of meeting andbanqueting facilities. Project part focuses on the design and solvingplumbing and gas installations. Part of the thesis are the total property assessmentsand literature review focused on the issue of hot water.
Heat sources for an apartment building
Jurčík, Peter ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of a heat source for heating and DHW in an apartment building. The theoretical part contains a brief division of heat sources for an apartment building and introduction of the components of the solar system. Significant part si devoted to the T*sol software, which was used as a simulation tool for calculation of the solar system parameters. Finally, an article that addresses similar design of the solar system was analyzed. The calculation part deals with the design of the heating system. It consists of the calculation of heat losses, the design of heating elements, heat source and other components. DHW calculation is solved in two variants – var. 1 with gas condensing boiler and var. 2 with gas condensing boiler and solar system. The last part of the master thesis is dedicated to the design of a solar system for DHW using the simulation of several variants followed by selection of the optimal solution.
Heating Asylum House
Gongolová, Klára ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
In my thesis, i prepare proposals for heating and hot water in a shelter in the Havirov city. It is a renovated brick building that has two floors. The property also adjacent kitchen with workshop. In the calculation deals with the proposal of heating surfaces, plumbing, heating water and heat. I object to proposed plate radiators and pipe. Distribution of hot-water, two-pipe, symmetrical. I opted for the joint preparation of heating water for the production of domestic hot water heating and water heating. The heat source is a cascade of two heat pumps. In the theoretical part I focus on heat pumps.
Heating of panel house with alternative preparation of TV
Bílek, Martin ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the heating and hot water preparation in the residential house in Brno. object has eight floors and basement. In each floor there are five residential units. In the basement there is a utility room with heating, gas boiler cascade. Used to heat-pipe heating system. Heating surfaces are plate and tubular body. The primary source of hot water is gas boiler. As a secondary source of alternative preparation with solar home stations. Each apartment has its own solar station.
Gray water heat exchangers
Devečka, Viktor ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
In the present development of building industry and increasing demands for convenience and comfort of living, energy demands of buildings are also getting higher. After heating, the second largest costs are for the production of hot water. Use of hot water produces grey water with high residual thermal energy, which is drained into sewage. The heat recovery system of grey water solves this heat loss problem. This paper deals with the possibilities of using the heat of grey water. It is aimed mainly at the use of heat energy from grey water to reduce the cost of preparation of hot water. The paper analyzed the energy consumption in buildings. Subsequently, it focuses on the methods of using heat from grey water. It familiarizes with the methods of thermal energy recovery and describes drain water heat recovery system. Drain water heat recovery systems' producers from Czech and Slovak market are named. In conclusion, there are two modeling studies evaluating heat recovery system's efficiency.
Heating of building with air conditioning
Toboláková, Andrea ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a heating system and hot water heating for a newly built wellness hotel placed on the beach nearby reservoir Vranov. The theoretical part is focused on the build heating with solid fuels specifically pellets. In the calculation part is processed the proposal of heating systems, the heat sources, the water heater and other equipment. The last part of the project includes a technical report and drawing documentation at the level of implementation of the project.
Heating of the Object with Different Fuels
Ladomérská, Jana ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
In my final thesis I am processing a proposal for heating and preparing hot water for a restaurant with accommodation. This is a three-storey brick house. It is situated on the territory of the Ústí region. The aim of my work is to propose and to assess the appropriate heat source for this object. In the object I chose heating radiators. The proposal is processed in two variants. In the first variant, I suggest a cascade of condensing boilers using as a source of heat. In the second variant, I suggest a cascade of electrical boilers. Hot water will be prepared in reservoir of warm water. The source of hot water will be the same as the source for heating.
Design of a space and DHW heating system for a detached dwelling
Záboj, Jakub ; Pech, Ondřej (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis aims to propose a system for heating and hot water for a family house, according to drawings supplied by the building architect. At the request of the investor as the primary object will be considered a variant of underfloor heating. For comparing the heat loss, economic and possibly to State subsidies system selected will be processed by an alternative option to the ventilation air heating. Underfloor heating and hot air are among the low-temperature heating system, which can use low temperature heat sources, such as heat pumps. This assumption corresponds to investor requests, the source of heat in a family house with a heat pump and gas boiler. For hot water will be used as an alternative to a fireplace in the living room. To use the results of the thesis is to calculate the heat loss and heat, according to current standards include design and hot-water heating system including hot-drawing documentation. Finally, the economic evaluation of different alternatives in terms of investment and operating costs.
