Mobile Signal Generator for ECU Calibration
Pauliuchenka, Aliaksandr ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is a mobile electrical signal generator for the calibration of an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The thesis primarily offers an analysis of the electrical signals that enter the control unit. It then describes the process of developing the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) used in the generator, the C++ programs for the microcontrollers used, and the software for controlling and programming the test scenarios. Finally, the thesis concludes by measuring the output signals of the generator with an oscilloscope and testing the connection to an open ECU. Based on these tests, the functionality of the generator was evaluated.
HIL testing of student formula battery management system
Přikryl, Matouš ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Adámek, Roman (advisor)
The thesis covers the topic of hardware-in-loop testing of the battery management system of student formula. The beginning of the thesis contains a literature review on the topic of battery management systems testing with an emphasis on the hardware and software that can be used for this purpose. In the second part of the thesis, the layout of the BMS connection to the test rig and its subsequent testing is described. Custom models of the formula parts and code written specifically for this thesis were used for the testing of the BMS. The final part contains test analysis and validation of the models of the simulated parts.
Application for Simulator of Dynamic Systems
Korčák, Aleš ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create a software that implements data exchange between a physical simulator of dynamic systems and the MATLAB environment. The thesis also includes the design of a simple control task for the selected system.
Functional HIL testing of an electronic control unit
Štramberský, Jan ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the functional HIL testing of a universal electronic control unit. The control unit is graphically programmed in an application in which it is possible to create state machines with pre-programmed functions. Within the scope of this work, a HIL test of the unit has been created. Signals are exchanged between the unit and PC using an input/output card. The PC runs the HIL test script in Matlab. This test verifies the firmware of the unit by checking the expected behaviour of the functions and the conditions of the transitions.
Modeling of machinery in MapleSim
Moravanský, Lukáš ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on modelling of machinery using MapleSim. The introductory part provides a brief insight into the field of digital twins in Industry 4.0 and the approaches by which machine components are modelled. Other parts of the thesis focus on the MapleSim tool. In the last part, a custom digital twin is created using MapleSim and Automation Studio tools.
HIL simulation of manipulators or machines
Dočekal, Martin ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with HIL simulation (hardware in the loop). The thesis contains a manipulator created in the virtual software V-REP. The connection of real inputs and virtual outputs of the machine is realized by the microcontroller Arduino UNO. The first task deals with the control of the manipulator using the joystick PS2. The second task is a separate control of the robot using an microcontroller Arduino UNO. The resulting connection can be modified in the furher and the interface modified. The work will be used for educational purposes.
Design of a complex HIL simulator of car boot door
Obrtáč, Tomáš ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Spáčil, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis covers the development of complex HIL simulator for the fifth car door. The beginning of the thesis is dedicated to theoretical research in the area of In-the-Loop testing. Practical part describes development of HIL simulator complemented by power electronics part. A simulation environment Matlab/Simulink was used for control design and analysis. Before the beginning of the work was measured signal part of control unit and specific signal sequences were identified. The control was applied on sbRIO device from National Instruments company with the implementation of a model on FPGA. Specific requirements for sensing speed and generation of communication signals lead to creation of unique hardware for application needs. The result of the thesis is complex HIL simulator with intuitive GUI and possibility of simulations a wide range of DC motors.
HIL test stand for universal electronic control units
Zouhar, Štěpán ; Musil, Filip (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on testing of Electronic Control Units, especially functional testing in which hardware and software is verified and also Model in the Loop, Software in the Loop, Processor in the Loop and Hardware in the Loop testing methods. Within practical part of this thesis testing stand for functional test of the ECU was developed and manufactured. It is connected to PC via Input/Output card, testing is controlled by MATLAB script. Whole process of testing is automated from initial upload of testing firmware to tested ECU over all phases of test up to bootloader flashing. Hardware in the Loop test was also created, in which ECU works as controller and DC motor is simulated in real time with PC in MATLAB environment.
HIL model of electromechanical system
Malík, Lukáš ; Bartík, Ondřej (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creation of elektromechanical model in Modelica language which is subsequently imported into LabVIEW environment. The Modelica language, LabVIEW graphical programming tool and Functional Mock-up Interface 2.0 standard are described in the introduction of this thesis. Functional Mock-up Interface is a tool independent standard witch, defines a standardized interface to ModelExchange and Co-simulation of complex system components. The model of electromechanical system was created based on Functional Mock-up Interface standard. Part of the work focuses on the Functional Mock-up Unit storage possibilities and LabVIEW support to import models of this type. The imported model was simulated and tested in this environment. Finally, the instance of Functional Mock-up Unit was connected with LabVIEW FPGA target for the purpose of model HIL simulation on CompactRIO platform.
Control of electric drives using Simulink Real-Time
Schrötter, Ján ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is implementation of control of permanent magnet synchronous motor using Simulink Real-Time on a platform with MF624 I/O card. The control will be realized by hardware-in-the-loop simulation method. The thesis deals with structure of the motor and transformations needed for vector control. The platform and control system of the whole task is described in the next part of the thesis.
