Proprietary VoIP protocols of PBX manufacturers
Bělík, David ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the analysis of proprietary Voice over IP protocols. The first part describes the principles and VoIP technology types. The next section describes proprietary protocols Panasonic IP-PT from Panasonic Corporation and Siemens CorNet-IP from Siemens Corporation. Protocols which are being used in these systems are listed here. Further there is being described the process of registration of terminals to central province. Subsequently calling process and particular terminal functions including packet analysis are being decoded in detail. In conclusion H.323 and MGCP protocols are being compared.
Videoconference potentials in PBX Asterisk
Vlk, Bronislav ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of video conferencing in Asterisk PBX and their use in practice. They also described the contingencies and how its configuration. Particular attention is paid to the protocols SIP, IAX and H.323, which are described in one of the chapters. The thesis was created by the Asterisk PBX, which demonstrates cooperation with videoconferencing clients. The thesis describes the configuration files so that the central set. Conclusion the work assesses the use of codecs for different clients.
Security of real time multimedia data transmission
Otoupalík, Petr ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with technology and security of real-time multimedia data transmission. The possibilities of the security of a multimedia data transfer and the mechanisms defined for the security of the signaling protocols SIP and H.323 are described with the view of security. The possible attacks on the real-time transfers are also mentioned. The basic requirements on the safe and reliable data transfer are specified. The main part of this thesis is focused on the security analysis of the data transmission of the selected communication clients, which use different security methods. The last part of the thesis deals with realization of simple attacks on multimedia data transmission and also on the SIP protocol.
Open source PBX YATE
Kovář, Jan ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
The work discusses about the PBX Yate, describes its configuration from the initial installation, through the basic setup and description of the way through the logs of user registration, the syntax for defining the calling plan, including examples, and additional services, including demonstration of practical verification of the functionality in the computer lab. Are also created two samples job for more familiar with the principles of operation and the Yate PBX settings.
SIP/H.323 gateway with Asterisk PBX
Smékal, Lukáš ; Herman, Ivo (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is engaged in problems of the internet telephony and its usage in today´s world, which offers many techniques how communicate among people. The internet telephony gives telephoning other format and shows new possibilities of IP protocol´s usage. The thesis is focused on the most used protocol corveying functions of VoIP technology, it is the standard H.323 and also the SIP protokol, which even if provides the same functions as H.323 is based on the different principle and because of its easy structure, it prepares good conditions for rise of new applications and services in internet telephony. In this thesis the Open Source private branch exchange Asterisk is also discussed. Asterisk, not only thanks to the usage of Voice over IP provides against the standard analogue private branch exchange many advantages and thanks to its modularity and expansibility also offers much more possibilities of configuration. The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the basic protocol, with which Asterisk works. The standard H.323 is not implemented in the basic installation of Asterisk, therefore it is necessary to do its suitable installation and congiruation, in order to expand exchange´s functions for work with this standard and also to be able to realize translation between the protocol SIP and the standard H.323. The results, which I accomplished, are presented in the chapters „Dosažené výsledky“ and in the conclusion of the bachelor’s thesis.
VoIP - new way of communication
Černý, Jan ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Škop, Miroslav (referee)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is IP telephony as a new way of communication capable of replacing the current analogue telephony adequately. The aim is to introduce the VoIP environment, principles and also its real use. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the above mentioned environment as well as on used layers and protocols of OSI and TCP/IP models. The second part looks into the VoIP technology itself, from voice digitalization to voice transfer using various protocols. Discussed is older signalization protocol H.323 and its successor SIP. Furthermore the chapter examines various VoIP types and threads to VoIP as well as terms like QoS or ENUM. The third part contains a case study of implementing VoIP in practise. The case study shows matters that need to be taken into consideration when implementing this technology but mainly reveals how much can be saved per month, how big is the initial investment and its rate of return.
Security of Enterprise VoIP Telephony Networks
Šolc, Jiří ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on enterprise VoIP telephony network security. Introduces brief comparison of old analog and digital voice networks and IP telephone networks with special focus on VoIP system security. The goal of the thesis is to identify the risks of implementation and operation of VoIP technologies in enterprise environment and so thesis brings some conclusion how to minimalize or avoid these risks. First two chapters briefly introduce the development of telephony technologies with differentiation of enterprise telephone network from public telephone networks. Further it describes individual technologies, digitalization of voice, processing the signal and VoIP protocols and components. Third chapter focuses on infrastructure of telephony networks with special interest for architecture of IP telephony and ways of establishing call processing. It describes data flows for further security risk analysis, which this technology came with. Fifth chapter is about enterprise security standards in common and is trying to describe information security management system (ISMS) adopting VoIP technology. Individual security threats and risks are described in sixth chapter, along with known methods how to avoid them. Final parts of thesis concludes of two real situation studies of threats and risks of VoIP technologies implemented in environment of small commercial enterprise and medium size enterprise, in this example represented by University of economics. These chapters conclude theoretical problems shown on practical examples.
Technologie VoIP
