Mathematical Modeling of Company Efficiency Using Neural Networks in Maple

The goal of this thesis is to study the possibilities of Artificial neural network as an innovative mathematical methods for financial analysis of company performance, to find out what are today´s requests for performance evaluation of companies are and to identify possible ways how to use this relatively new concept in this area. When processing the possibilities of the computer program Maple for mathematical calculations will be applied. Intermediate objectives are then acquainted with the basic principle on which the artificial neural networks works, to analyze the financial performance of specific company and evaluate potential predictive abilities of the proposed network. The result of the work should be evaluating the success of this approach to financial analysis and evaluation of its use in practice.

PRINCIPLES UTILIZATION OPTIONS OF VALUE BASED MANAGEMENT TO CREATION OF REMUNERATION SYSTEMS

The dissertation thesis is focused on value based systems of remuneration. Importance and mission of remuneration systems at company management leading to increase in value for owners, respectively for stakeholders is investigated here. The dissertation thesis deals with the factors influencing both, employees, their performance and motivation for company´s aims achievement, and companies´ systems of remuneration. The subject of dissertation thesis is actually concurrent because employees´ performance increasing in a form of stimulation bonuses, an effort for possessing employees in the company, and dividing company´s profit for employees at the same time are very demanding managerial tasks in every stage of company´s development. At the dissertation thesis elaboration, the author has stemmed from theoretical backgrounds of scientific publications of Czech authors as well as of foreign authors, and also from realized investigations. Primary research has been realized by a combination of single techniques of quantitative research, i.e. by the means of questionnaires, personal interviews and telephonic interviews. Results of the primary research obtained have been analysed using the applications of Microsoft Excel, Portable Open Office Calc and XLStatistics software. Results obtained at elaboration of the dissertation thesis have been used with the aim to determinations of the most important factors influencing employees´ motivation for performance increasing and interestedness on company´s goals achievement. Moreover, the results obtained by primary research outcomes analysis have made possible the statistic verification of the hypotheses of dissertation. The partial outcome of dissertation thesis is the definition of premises of value oriented systems of remuneration use in small and medium-sized entities. Based on this definition of these systems implementation premises, the methodical order of implementation of value oriented system of remuneration into company´s practice. For elaboration of the value oriented system of remuneration proposal, first of all, it has been necessary to create the system of EVA quantification in a company, i.e. to divide company´s assets into responsibility centres, to calculate EVA of every single responsibility centre, and to propose a concept of employees´ interest on change of the EVA indicator value. The proposed methodology has been proved in condition of concrete company, and in the dissertation thesis, it is presented as a case study. This way, one can get complete information about characteristics of the presented model, in concrete about necessary adjustments of costs and revenues, about determination of the amount of invested capital and its valuation, and about division of created value for employees and owners as well. Elaborated case study provides a feedback on a possibility and demandingness of implementation of value based systems of remuneration in small and medium-sized entities. The conclusion of dissertation thesis is devoted to the summary of knowledge obtained, to the discussion of premises for the proposed methodology implementation into business practice, and to the discussion about possibilities of next scientific work in elaborated area.
Software Application for Assessment of Selected Indicators

This bachelor’s thesis aims to create a financial plan for the company Smartgym s.r.o. through the usage of chsoen indicators. All of this is going to be contained in an excel application, which will be available for continual usage in upcoming years for the company, not only for repeated calculations of economic indicators, but also statistic indicators, which are going to serve as basis for strategic decision making in investment field.
The Way to Better Future Means to Understand the Past The Math Modelling

The main aim of my diploma thesis is to prepare easy math model, which can help to understand the development of economic indicators in time. This math model will show the dependence and important moment in their development and can help to improve the efficiency of company. All math models will be working up in system Maple which is very good helper in working up of big group of data. The partial aim is to show characteristics of company, to valorize the efficiency of company and compare this efficiency with main competitors. The results will be recommendations which should help positive influence the future efficiency of company, help with choose of strategy and the make a better position on the market.
Estimation of the Value of the Firm

Furthermore the strategic and financial analysis, analysis and forecast of value drivers and financial plan is done. The valuation is based on Discounted Cash flow method and Economic Value Added method.
Valuation of the Firm by Using Income Capitalization Approach

The theoretical part contains the basic theoretical framework needed to evaluate the business. In the next part are processed strategic analysisy, financial analysis ,financial plan, and prognosis of value generators. In conclusion, the Company's objectified value is estimated to 1.1.2017.
Proposals for Improving Economic Performance

This bachelor’s thesis aims at evaluation and improvement of the performance of the company Zlínprofi, s.r.o. using both financial and nonfinancial analysis. This work is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes methods which the subsequent analysis uses. After that the company is introduced and its financial and strategic analysis is conducted. The results are then compared with the recommended values and competing company. In the conclusion the overall situation is evaluated and based on these resulting facts suggestions for improving the financial performance of the company are proposed.
The development of topics in selected Czech women's and lifestyle periodicals in 1918-2018

The diploma thesis Development of topics in selected Czech women's and lifestyle magazines in the years 1918-2018 brings a unique research of a century-old development of selected contents from magazines for women. The introductory chapter states the theoretical framework of media research and its effects and explains the methodology of the research. As its basic platform, it uses the history of the republic, which at first divides into several separate stages bounded by the so-called "eight years" (1918, 1938, 1948, 1968, 1988-89, 2008 and 2018), in which it introduces selected key events of these years. The individual historical parts are followed by a presentation of the influences of these historical milestones on the work and function of the media and the development of emancipation and everyday life of women. It concludes each historical chapter with an analysis of the structure of topics published in the magazines Ženský svět (Women's World) from 1908-1928, Eva (Catholic review) from 1918, Eva (magazine of modern or educated women) from 1928 and 1938, Hvězda československých paní a dívek (Star of Czechoslovak ladies and girls) from 1928 and 1938, Vlasta from 1948 to 2018 and Žena a život (Woman and Life) from 1998-2018.
