Datalogger
Štupák, Branislav ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the datalogger development for monitoring roof constructions ambients of historical buildings. The device is made of microcontroller ATmega328P and is using simple principles of environment monitoring. The device saves measured data to SD card from air temperature, air humidity, light intensity, wood moisture and air flow sensors. In conclusion of the thesis are then succesfully tested and summarized the properties of designed datalogger’s sensors.
Temperature monitoring unit
Martínek, Jaroslav ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Content of the Bachelor Thesis covers design and realisation of an unit for multipoint temperature measuring in cooling and freezing equipments in food stores and shops. As a controlling microcomputer is used an Atmel ATMega128, temperature sensors are realised by DS18S20 digital thermometers, connected via 1-wire bus. Unit can read temperature from 32 temperature sensors, includes memory for measured data, real time clock, Ethernet interface and display with buttons for basic user control. Temperatures are measured periodically with user defined interval, values are stored into internal memory and showed on display. Measured data can also be transferred via Ethernet to clinent PC, where can be viewed in form of table and graphs.
Independent datalogger with USB connection
Novobilský, Petr ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Semiconductor, Marek Bek, ON (advisor)
This work deals with design and construction logger capable measure temperature and relative humidity value and save them. Work also solution maximize batery life and number of record storaged in bulit-in flash memory.
Analog Signals Datalogger
Ščišľak, Tomáš ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyskočil, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor’s thesis is construction of device, which provides measuring and digitally recording of analog signals. The first part of this thesis deals with an analysis of circuit properties and building the basic scheme. It was important to choose proper components available. Datalogger consists of integrated digital circuits, which provide fast and reliable communication path. Function of main unit performs microcontroller Atmega128. The realization of external modules for current sensing looks interresting, particularly implementation of Hall sensor ACS755, circuits HCPL and solution of their connection with the main board. Second part of this thesis is oriented on hardware and software realization.
Automation of climatic data acquisition
Sádovský, Petr ; Pikula, Stanislav (referee) ; Uher, Miroslav (advisor)
The goal of this work is to understand and identify the communication of the COMET S3120E datalogger. Subsequent design of a circuit solution that will allow two-way communication with the datalogger and the compilation of control software for the PC. The basis of the work is a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part of this document is a theoretical description of the functionality of the datalogger and its components. It also contains a description of the software used to achieve the goals. The las part deals with circuit design and software for PC.
Analysis of Water Consupmtion in Campus of FAST VUT Brno
Fogl, Jiří ; Menšík, Miroslav (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of water consumption in the area of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. The main part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the measured data, which are recorded using a data logger located on the VF2 billing water meter. The processing of consumption curves is focused on individual working days, for days with or without instruction. From the results of the individual analyzes, maximum hourly limits are set for signaling of undesirable sampling states. In the end, the Smart Water Meters principle is introduced in the Czech Republic and abroad and a technical solution for the replacement of all billing water meters in the FAST area with new smart meters has been made.
Ni sensors to Ethernet convertor
Kubíček, Ondřej ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with hardware and software solution for the temperature converter of the standard rezistance temperature Ni sensors with the output through the Ethernet, driven by the Rabbit microcontroller. First part of this thesis deals with the theory of the temperature measurement. There are introduced basic principles of the temperature sensors. In the next part of the work are introduced communication standard and application protocol Modbus. The rest of the work deals with the hardware concept of the converter, the control program of the converter and the program developed for the PC.
Analysis of Water Consumpion in Faculty of Civil Enginering Campus
Nedoma, Tomáš ; Ručka, Jan (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis will conduct an analysis of water consumption on the premise of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. There will be a condition surfy of all billing and secondary water meters in the area of faculty evaluation of design options and automatic data collection on these meters. As a further assessment will be made of the current fading status data from water meter installed in the premise sof the Faculty. Own water meter fading using appropriate datalogger including datermination of the average specific consumption per employee, student or other special purpose units. The last point of the thesis will investigace the possibilities for remote measurements with continuous monitoring and data transmission to the internet.
Autonomous USB datalogger
Románek, Karel ; Sutorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis treats concept of autonomous temperature, relative humidity and pressure USB datalogger. Also there is explained datalogger function, hardware design with respect on device consumption and design of chassis. Furthermore, there is described communication protocol for control and reading out data by the PC. Furthermore, there are described firmware drivers for some used components and modules for USB communication, RTC and data compression. Lastly there is described software which is used for datalogger configuration and data read out.
Meassuring system for building constructions
Flagar, Vojtěch ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This paper deals with the hardware and software design of the data acquisition distributed system with large amount of connected sensors. The intended application of this work is measuring some physical quantities in the building constructions. The designed system is hierarchically divided into the three levels. On the highest level there is a single-board computer Raspberry Pi which is used as a master on RS-485 bus. There can be up to 32 slave devices on the bus while each of them collects data from the sensors connected to 4-channel I2C bus. At the same time the Raspberry Pi is used as a web server, providing the user interface of the system.
