This bachelor thesis deals with creation, optimization of data model and making of Data Warehouse for personnel agency. The outcome of the thesis will be reports for company management, which should support its decision-making or streamline of chosen company processes. The first section describes theoretical basics of the stated topic. The next chapter focuses on analyzing current situation, collecting requirements for new system and in conclusion my own solution draft.

This thesis focuses on the area of detection of potential insurance frauds by using Business Intelligence (BI) and its practical application to real data of compulsory and accident insurance. It describes the basic concepts of insurance business, the individual layers of BI architecture, and a detailed description of the implementation process from data transformation through the use of advanced analytical methods to the presentation of acquired information.

Methods for Classification of WWW Pages

The main goal of this master's thesis was to study the main principles of classification methods. Basic principles of knowledge discovery process, data mining and using an external class CSSBox are described. Special attantion was paid to implementation of a ,,k-nearest neighbors`` classification method. The first objective of this work was to create training and testing data described by 'n' attributes. The second objective was to perform experimental analysis to determine a good value for 'k', the number of neighbors.

The topic of the master's thesis is a concept and implementation of the prototype application TOPZ demostrating the data warehouse. All theoretical facts about the data storage space are discussed at first. It is also specified the areas of possible improvements of the data warehouse. The specification of requirements and concept of the demonstration application are described in the following part. Testing the performace of the data warehouse is discussed in last chapter.
