Production of electric energy from biomass
Buřil, Tomáš ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Moskalík, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to summarize possibilities of energy use of biomass, especially a production of electric energy. The thesis describes and shows theoretical principles of used processes, as well as technical devices for getting energy. Among used processes belong combustion of biomass, thermic gasification and anaerobic fermentation connected with production of biogas. Electric energy is in these cases produced in combination with thermic energy, a process like this is called cogeneration. In the second part, technical solution of a biogas station in Vidochov is described. There are also stated reasons for its building, as well as an economic return of the investment.
New technologies for an efficient operation of biogas plants
Uhlířová, Marcela ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on new technologies enhancing efficient operation of biogas plants. The introductory part describes operation of biogas plant, its products and issues. The main part of the thesis deals with description of three progressive technologies concerning biogas plants such as dry fermentation, hydrothermal pretreatment and biogas upgrading to biomethane. For each technology there is a description, advantages and disadvantages with regard to their practical applicability.
Bio-gas power plant
Mészáros, Gabriel ; Joch, Lukáš (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the possibility of using biodegradable materials (animal manure, energy crops, crop waste) in a biogas plant. The first part deals with the mechanism of production of biogas. Described are factors which affect the production of biogas, its composition, properties, utilization and potential substrates. The next chapter deals with the technologies of biogas plants. The main part of the thesis is devoted to a proposal of a specific biogas plant in the Slovak Republic in the Novozámocký district. Included is the processing of design proposal, selection of components and proposal of the layout of biogas plant. The economic evaluation includes quantifying capital and operating costs and profits from the sale of electricity and compost.
Combined heat and biogas production using a bioreactor
Novák, David ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the bioreactor system and its use for the production of heat and biogas. The bioreactor uses the composting and metanogation process of fermentation that humanity has known for hundreds of years, but the combination of these processes is a relatively unexplored area. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the existing possibilities of utilization of the heat generated in the compost, and also describes the used technology of small biogas stations and other small systems for biogas production. It follows the practical part of the work, when it was the task to design a bioreactor working at low temperatures during the winter. Part of the solution is the initial design and testing of the basic test structure of the bioreactor, followed by the implementation of a more advanced and more complex system, including a control and measuring center realized by a microcontroller.
Renewable energy sources in the region of the North Moravia
Mazák, Tomáš ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The content of this work is to search an overview of basic types of renewable resources in the region of the north Moravia, respectively in the Olomouc region. In this work, are clearly described the main sources that are used in our country, especially the potential of photovoltaic systems, wind energy, water energy and biomass. For each type of renewable source is depicted a principle and the possibility to use just in the region of the north Moravia. In addition, specific applications are described in the Olomouc region, using these energy potentials.
Renewable energy sources in CR
Luermann, Július ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with potential and utilization of renewable energy sources in Slovakia, including description of technologies using these energy sources in the first part. It is written about biomass as a renewable source of energy, methods of biomass processing and its utilization possibilities for producing electricity and heat energy in the second part. The last part of the bachelor’s thesis concerns with technical characteristics of technology using biomass – specifically with Biogas station in Chynorany near Partizánske.
Possibilities of energy exploitation of biomass - biogas production
Beck, Michal ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Objective of this Bachelor thesis is to describe production of energy from biomass, using anaerobic fermentation and biogas production. It describes this entire process from theoretical and practical point of view. The last chapter contains an evaluation of this energy production in context of its economical returns.
Evaluation of technology for the biomass incineration.
Bílek, Vít ; Pěček, Jan (referee) ; Jícha, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with overview of methods of processing and utilization of biomass. It describes technologies for biomass energy. Part is devoted to energy crops and other biomass resources.
Biogas plants
Hudečková, Eva ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with biogas plants. In thesis are described suitable inlet feedstock for anaerobic fermentation, described proces of fermentation and there are mentioned basic elements of biogas plant. In next part of thesis was described concrete biogas plant and there were worked out energy and economic balance. In simplicity there were calculated return of investment and economic benefits for farm.
