The diploma thesis deals with the design of mechanism for manipulation with bars and creating a batch of square steel bars. In intoduction of this thesis is describtion of principle of curent mechanisms. In following chapters are described the most important parts of new mechanism and their design. In final sections are risk analysis and financial evaluation.

Design of stepping grate for deburring machines

This master’s thesis is focused on design of stepper conveyor, that is used for transport od round bars of lengths from 3 m to 12 m and diameters from 20 mm to 100 mm between chamfering machines. It is a machinery assembled from chain conveyors and roller conveyors, which allows transverse and lengthwise movement of bars. The main goal was reduction of energetic demands compared to present solution of conveyor.

Traverser

In this work is solved construction design of transport hub (traverser) between roller conveyor and chain conveyor for transportation EURO pallet. Between conveyors is right angle. The content of the bachelor thesis is functional construction design with functional calculation of basic parameters. Then drawing documentation complemented 3D model of traverser.

Cranked chain conveyer

Output of this diploma work is an overall project of the Cranked Chain Conveyer, arising from specification of the assignment. Project is divided into several phases, whereas first of them is composed of calculations and finding of necessary driving unit. First phase is followed by second phase, where I - regarding the engine power - dimension individual structural parts like loop chain, conveyer drive unit, stressing etc. In last phase I deal with drawing documentation of designed parts of the conveyer.

Conveyor changer

This bachelor´s thesis contains structural design of transfer point (traverser) for europallets between roller conveyor and chain conveyor and it deals with structural design of the tweve meters long chain conveyor. The lift of the traverser is resolved by electric actuators. It is designed for a fully-loaded europallet´s to the weight of 1200kg. The thesis includes 3D model of traverser and chain conveyor, basic strength and functional calculations, drawings of the assembly.
