Neural Network Based Edge Detection
Křepský, Jan ; Grézl, František (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
Utilization of artificial neural networks in digital image processing is nothing new. The aim of this work is to design and implement neural network based edge detector and learn how effective this approach is for edge detection in images and to compare these results with common detectors. In theoretical part of my work I describe some methods of image pre-processing, common approach to edge detection and their thinning and I try to introduce basics for understanding artificial neural networks theory.
Neural Network Based Edge Detection
Jamborová, Soňa ; Grézl, František (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This work is about suggestion and implementation of the software for detection of edges in images using neurons network. It defines basic terms for this topic and focusing mainly at preperation imaging imformation for detection using nerons network. Describing and comparing different aproachings for using implemented software on synthetic and real set of images,  including experiments.
Neural Network Number Recognition
Doupovec, Zdeněk ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Šilhavá, Jana (advisor)
This work describes the basic concepts and principles in the field of neural networks. Closer then deals with the problem of multilayer perceptron networks, namely back-propagation method. There are analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, the proposal of possible digits recognition system using back-propagation. The aim is to obtain concrete results from the program whitch is able to recognize numbers.
Neural Network Based Edge Detection
Janda, Miloš ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is description of neural network based edge detection methods that are substitute for classic methods of detection using edge operators. First chapters generally discussed the issues of image processing, edge detection and neural networks. The objective of the main part is to show process of generating synthetic images, extracting training datasets and discussing variants of suitable topologies of neural networks for purpose of edge detection. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to evaluating and measuring accuracy values of neural network.
Recurrent Neural Networks in Computer Vision
Křepský, Jan ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The thesis concentrates on using recurrent neural networks in computer vision. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge about artificial neural networks with focus on a recurrent architecture. There are presented some of possible applications of the recurrent neural networks which could be used for a solution of real problems. The practical part concentrates on face recognition from an image sequence using the Elman simple recurrent network. For training there are used the backpropagation and backpropagation through time algorithms.
Neural Network Based Image Segmentation
Jamborová, Soňa ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This work is about suggestion of the software for neural network based image segmentation. It defines basic terms for this topics. It is focusing mainly at preperation imaging information for image segmentation using neural network. It describes and compares different aproaches for image segmentation.
Deep Neural Networks
Habrnál, Matěj ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The thesis addresses the topic of Deep Neural Networks, in particular the methods regar- ding the field of Deep Learning, which is used to initialize the weight and learning process s itself within Deep Neural Networks. The focus is also put to the basic theory of the classical Neural Networks, which is important to comprehensive understanding of the issue. The aim of this work is to determine the optimal set of optional parameters of the algori- thms on various complexity levels of image recognition tasks through experimenting with created application applying Deep Neural Networks. Furthermore, evaluation and analysis of the results and lessons learned from the experimentation with classical and Deep Neural Networks are integrated in the thesis.
Coevolution of Cartesian Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks
Kolář, Adam ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to verify synergy of genetic programming and neural networks. Solution is provided by set of experiments with implemented library built upon benchmark tasks. I've done experiments with directly and also indirectly encoded neural netwrok. I focused on finding robust solutions and the best calculation of configurations, overfitting detection and advanced stimulations of solution with fitness function. Generally better solutions were found using lower values of parameters n_c and n_r. These solutions tended less to be overfitted. I was able to evolve neurocontroller eliminating oscilations in pole balancing problem. In cancer detection problem, precision of provided solution was over 98%, which overcame compared techniques. I succeeded also in designing of maze model, where agent was able to perform multistep tasks.
Algorithmic Trading Using Artificial Neural Networks
Bárta, Jakub ; Plchot, Oldřich (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This master thesis is focused on designing and implementing a software system, that is able to trade autonomously at stock market. Neural networks are used to predict future price. Genetic algorithm was used to find good combination of input parameters.
Visual Simulator of General Neural Networks
Herman, David ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Martinek, David (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a general library of neural networks. Another subject is the implementation of a visual simulator, which would represent graphically, in a suitable manner, the algorithm of learning and the active dynamics of the network, in separate steps. This application also has to be platform independent.
