Family House

The aim of this bachelor thesis is working out the project documentation for the process of planning permission of a detached house in the town of Nemšová, which is 16 km from the county seat in Trenčín. Vertical and horizontal supporting structures of both floors are designed from the type of system Porotherm, which is a type of block construction system. The basement is built from shuttering blocks from the system of Terrablock, where the blocks are embedded in concrete and interconnected with reinforcement. Roof structure is designed as a single aisle flat roof sitting on the ceiling construction above the last floor. This house has got two floors above ground and a basement. The first floor is used as a social part of the house and the second floor acts as a quiet zone. In the basement there are rooms which serve mainly for all utilities and also as a cellar for storing garden products. There is also a relaxing part of the house which has fitness facilities. The building site is flat and located near the river Vlara, which is separated from the land by a flood dyke to protect against the millennial water. All constructions were designed according to valid ČSN codes and regulations.
Analysis of colapse of family house during the house building

One of the first point was to create drawings of a projected state before collapse from photos that I had. The project is aimed on causes and reports of fallen wall, then results are compared with software results. The project solves also reports of gable walls that were intact. I solve temporary options of bracing for these walls, compares each variants while trying to ease and the low cost of solution. The result is recommendation how to prevent collapse of the structure.
The design of reinforced concrete ceiling

The bachelor thesis is focused on the static solution of monolithic reinforced concrete continuous ceiling and a beam in a single family house. The entire structure of ceiling is designed of reinforced concrete. Software Dlubal RFEM is used to determine the effects of load. It works with the finite element method. Assessment of elements is according to the first limit state and also the second limit state. The thesis includes statics calculation, dimensioning of reinforcement, drawing of shape and reinforcement drawings of solved elements.
Mounting frame structures of production and warehouse complex in Paskov

The content of the submitted thesis is the implementation of a reinforced concrete skeleton assembled in Paskov. This is a manufacturing and warehouse facility Italinox. The work contains a comprehensive technical report, technical report transport relations, bills of quantities, two technological regulations, two control and test plans, design of mechanical assemblies, and health and safety. The appendix contains drawings framed construction and piloting, budget, schedule, drawing of the site.
Possibilities of using GPR to detect reinforcement of concrete structures

The aim of this study is to outline how is GPR used to detect reinforcement in concrete structures. In each part the study deals with diagnostic testing methods used for building construction and shows a recognisability of steel reinforcement in concrete. Then it closely examines applications of GPR in a diagnostics of reinforced concrete structures with using Hilti PS 1000 device. In the practical part I conducted a building survey of wall silo using GPR and electromagnetic indicators. The aim was to identify the position of reinforcement which was subsequently compared with the project documentation. The construction survey was carried out as a reason of several serious defects such as cracks and tilting of major part of one of the silo walls.
Inspection and preliminary assessment of reinforced concrete bridge

Policies preliminary survey reinforced concrete bridge. The theoretical section contains review of standards ČSN 73 6221. In a practical section there is made an examination of a bridge object over a river Litava ( Cézava). Classification with recommended bridge repairs is carried out based on the detected defects.
SCC with secondary raw materials

Bachelor thesis is focused on the possibility of using secondary raw materials and their application to the production of SCC. Large part deals with impurities of type I and its application results mainly from abroad. Furthermore, this work examines the impact of different types of impurities on the resulting concrete durability in various aggressive environments. The practical part is focused on the use of chemically non-reactive additives of type I instead of the commonly used additives of type II which are used to replace part of cement and the resulting design and manufacture of low-strength SCC using appropriate additives.
Carbon nanotubes in building materials

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has become of great interest for scientists in many disciplines. This study examines the effect of CNTs as nanosized reinforcement for metakaolin–based geopolymer. It was found out that the addition of CNTs considerably affects the compressive and flexural strength geopolymer samples. The influence of CNTs on microstructure was examined using mercury intusion porosimetry and scanning electron microscopy.
Slovanic secondary school in Olomouc – Gross upper building construction

The subject of my thesis is the technology of gross upper building construction of Slovanic secondary school in Olomouc. The building is made of monolithic reinforced concrete structures. The work includes technological specification of execution monolithic structure, technical report, construction site, design of mechanical assembly, scheduling, bill of quantities, budget of the building, inspection and test plan and health and safety at work.
Demonstration Motosalon - technological phase coarse upper construction

The subject of my bachelor thesis is creation of carcass superstructure on Motosalon showroom in Ostrava, and time-economical comparison of monolithic and prefabricated construction technology. This thesis deals with the technological regulations for concrete monolithic construction and installation of prefabricated elements. It also contains a technical report, technical report of a building site, a draft of mechanical reports, construction timetables, itemized budgets, plan of inspections and examinations, environmental plan of the building, work safety, precast export plan, the solution of transport routes, the situation and site equipment for both technologies.
