This master‘s thesis, entitled Technical Risk Analysis, focuses on the new harmonized FMEA method. The theoretical part deals with advanced quality planning, quality tools and a detailed description of all seven steps of the new FMEA method. The main goal of this work is to describe the harmonized FMEA method and create a case study on the topic of nonconforming product management. The harmonized FMEA will be illustrated in this case study.

First, a theoretical introduction to the issue is described, including an introduction to analysis methods of failures in the production process. The practical part deals with the description of the company's current state of product release and its analysis. The work ends with suggestions and recommendations regarding the analysis findings and a description of the current state.

The master’s thesis deals with the issue of risk management during the contract in the company Besta Trade s.r.o., dealing with sheet metal processing CNC technology. The theoretical part explains the concepts and methods related to this issue. The analytical part describes the course of the contract and identifies all possible risks that may occur during the contract. Their identification is performed using selected tools - FMEA method. Measures are proposed in the design part, the intention is to reduce the size of risks during the contract.

Reliability assessing of the fiber optic packaging process

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the reliability of processes at the packaging center in the company CommScope Czech Republic s.r.o. The first part of the work is research about options for quality management using ISO 9000 standards, but also TQM approaches. At the same time, methods and analytical techniques are discussed, which will be further used in the practical part of this thesis. The following section introduces CommScope Inc. and its main product - optical fiber. The practical part contains an introduction to the packaging center and its processes, it also describes the analysis of the reliability of the original state and proposals for corrective measures that were designed within the Kaizen event. The rest of the work is then devoted to the implementation of the proposed changes and their economic assessment. Finally, an evaluation of the methods used, the results achieved and other recommendations are given.
Risks of Order Processing in the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals the risk management during order processing in the engineering company Balák stroje Tišnov Ltd., a producer of custom machines. The aim of the diploma theses is to identify and evaluate the risks that may arise during the order processing. A partial aim is to propose a list of recommendations to minimize the most serious risks. The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical basis. The second part – analytical part contains the introduction of the company, the research part, description of the order processing and risks identification and evaluation, using selected methods – FMEA and Ishikawa diagram. The last part contains proposals for mitigating the most serious risks.
Process optimalization of internal and customer complaint management in REHAU

This diploma thesis focusses on quality management system settings in accordance with the international standard ISO/TS 16949 in the conditions of a medium-sized enterprise, a supplier for the automotive industry. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on professional literature, including professional articles, and describes individual theoretical outcomes, which are subsequently applied in the practical part. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the project of the implementation of this standard into the structure of medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, the thesis evaluates financial and temporal difficulties with regard to the introduction of certification. It also provides an analysis of key processes, proposes a process map and offers a risk analysis via the method FMEA as well as an assessment of individual tools of quality management. Overall, the thesis provides a holistic overview of the issue concerning the implementation of quality management system in the conditions of the supplier for the automotive industry.
Process innovation for the selected company

The topic of the thesis Process Innovation for the Selected Company is to analyze the process of setup new customer/entity into the company’s database system. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the process of setup with all steps related, evaluate the process and propose the improvement of the process weaknesses. Practical part describes the current processes the company is operating on, this process is mapped by the process map and analyze using the DMAIC analysis with application of SIPOC and FMEA. The result of the thesis is proposal of the new process with changes of owners and its responsibilities of the individual process steps. The implementation of the new process improves the efficiency and decrease the idle time between the individual steps, what would shortage the overall time of the process. The remaining part of the thesis evaluate of the effectiveness of the proposed process changes and the possibility of its implementation in similar FSSC on the global market.
Reliability assessment of selected process in non-manufacturing company

The subject of the diploma thesis Assessment of the reliability of a selected process in a non-manufacturing company is the analysis of the reliability of processes and their risks. The partial goals were to perform a professional literature search of valid standards and a system analysis concerning the issue of assessing the reliability of the selected process. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the approach to selected concepts and tools that are used in this work. Furthermore, the author dealt with selected requirements of the relevant standards ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2016 a ČSN ISO 45001:2018, which relate to the issues addressed. The practical part introduces the company, especially the division of the company related to the process. Subsequently, the process was processed into an integrated flowchart and assessed using quality tools, namely FMEA analysis and Internal Audit. Based on the results obtained using these tools, the analysis revealed relevant risks and findings. In the last part, the author compared and summarized the results of the assessment and the identified findings, for which he proposed appropriate preventive measures to improve the selected process. Finally, the own conclusions and proposed preventive measures are discussed.
