This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the analysis of the financial situation of the company , using statistical methods . Importance and use of these methods is described in detail in the theoretical part. The practical part, based on company financial statements are compiled and evaluated selected economic indicators using the software Visual Basic for Application in MS Excel. In conclusion, the financial situation of the company is assessed and some measures are suggested based on the results of the analyzes.

Thesis is based on materials provided by the company. At the ends there are proposals and recommendations for improvement of finacial situation of company.

The following part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on the application of selected methods of financial analysis. The thesis also includes based on the results of the analysis the suggestions to increase business performance.

The goal of bachelor thesis is to evaluate financial situation of a chosen company, identify weak sides in this area and suggest measures leading to improvement of company’s financial health on the basis of this analysis. This bachelor thesis will focus on evaluating financial situation and completing financial analysis of San Marco s.r.o. between years 2009-2012 through indicators of financial analysis. San Marco company carries on two family pensions in Mutěnice and vine cellar, which is also in Mutěnice near Hodonín. The bachelor thesis will further take up on suggestions to improve economic situations of the company.
