Self-concept of an individual in dance movement
ZOUZALOVÁ, Kristýna
This diploma thesis deals with self-concept of a maturing individual in dancing. We look into the way of self-perception of a dancer during their commitment to dancing as a leisure time activity in their process of growing up. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with defining the terms related to movement, dancing and its various psychological and pedagogical aspects, especially expression and expressivity. The theoretical part also focuses on particular components of self-concept. The practical part contains case studies based on qualitative research, which stem from data achieved by in-depth interviews and introspection and retrospection done by the author of the thesis.
DNA čipy a jejich využití pro molekulární diagnostiku a predikci u onkologických onemocnění
VORÁČKOVÁ, Lucie
Many visible factors produced during carcinogenesis refer to oncological disease, e.g. modified gene's expression or increased number of miRNA. These factors can be diagnosed by analyzing of gene's expression. For this diagnostics, there are used many methods, of whom DNA microarray analysis is the most significant progress in genetic research. A large number of DNA sequences can be detected DNA with microarrays on a single microarray in a relatively short time. This analysis means a positive turnover for the diagnosis and prediction of disease.
Nucleotide density for finding CpG islands
Sikorová, Eva ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Maděránková, Denisa (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with searching for CpG islands in the DNA sequences using the nucleotide density vectors. The first part includes view of the DNA structure, the genetic information expression, more detailed analysis of CpG islands and primarily their detection methods. In the practical part the algorithm for graphical representation of nucleotides on the basis of their densities and detections of CpG islands of artificially created and real DNA sequences was realized in the MATLAB program. The thesis includes the analysis of twenty sequences with the expected content of CpGIs and the comparison of results between the created program and two search engines.
Transformation of Equation Editor Expressions to LaTeX
Šimek, Jiří ; Jirák, Ota (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of transformation of Equation editor expressions to LaTeX. It presents description of Equation editor expressions in Word 2007, it subsequently focuses on the syntax of particular expressions and it suggests the ways of their transformation into LaTeX. The grammar, which was used for the implementation of the converter, is designed on the basis of the syntax of expressions.
Translation of C Expressions to DIMACS Format
Grim, Pavel ; Charvát, Lukáš (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This work focuses on proposition of transfer of the expressions entered in the C programming language into DIMACS format and creation of program in programming language C++ making this transfer. This work contains a description of the C programming language and its operators. It also contains a description of the conjunctive normal form and a description of the DIMACS format. Following is a proposal for a program for the transfer of expression in the C programming language to the DIMACS format and description of realization of program performing this transfer.
Spectres and Illusions
Arendárik, Ján ; Stratil, Václav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The subject of my practical diploma thesis is a painting reaction to the photographs from years 1915 to 1930. I see them as a " photographs of dead(lost) world. The photographs of people whose dont live in present but the photographs are evidence of their existence in the past.
Seeking Novel Nitrilase Enzyme (Nitrile Aminohydrolase, EC 3.5.5.1)
Martínková, Ludmila ; Kaplan, Ondřej ; Veselá, Alicja Barbara
Our research group has created a library of novel nitrilases. In general, the enzymes are available from heterologous producers in amounts ranging from 10 to 20 mg of protein exhbiting 25-50 % purity. The enzymes differ from each other in substrate specificity, temperature optimum, enantioselectivity (arylacetonitrilases) etc. Preferential substrates are phenylacetonitrile, (R,S)-mandelonitrile, benzonitrile or cyanopyridines (depending on the enzyme).
Music As A Sign
JAROLÍMOVÁ, Jana
The thesis is interested in the problem of musical sign. In which ways can we speak about musical sign and which elements of musical material can become signs? These are the basic questions which we are interested in. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part attends to the common theory of sign. The historical survey with the main ideas of philosophers and thinkers will be helpful to find out basic terms and problems of semiotics. In the second part of thesis we look at the historical reflection of musical sign in order to find out in which way it was treated with music and musical sign in each historical period of European music. In the third part we focus on musical semiotics, but we will consider some problems of musical aesthetics and musical psychology, too. In the end we make recapitulation of answers to the aforesaid questions.
Visual expression of emotions and the work upon human
BLÁHOVÁ, Lenka
The main theme of this Bachelor's thesis are emotions. The goal is to clarify this concept, and then apply it to the context of fine art. The work is divided into part of the theoretical and practical. In the part dealing with the theories has to be clarified the relationship of emotions and colors, but mainly the display of emotion through visual art. Further emphasis is placed on the impact of the work on the viewer emotional page. This phenomenon is analysed in chronological order from the beginning of mankind until the present. The practical part includes a triptych of paintings focusing on the topic of emotions, the description of the painting process, including the inspiration of resources and subsequent consideration of their effects.
Expression and purification of \kur{Synechocystis} ferrochelatase from \kur{Escherichia coli}
RICHTOVÁ, Jitka
Ferrochelatase (FeCH) is an ubiquitous enzyme producing heme, an essential pigment for all forms of organisms. In photosynthetic organism, heme is synthesized together with the chlorophyll in one branched pathway and the FeCH enzyme appears to be important for regulation of both the chlorophyll and the heme biosynthesis. To understand regulatory role of this protein, an active recombinant FeCH from photosynthetic organism would be invaluable. The aim of this project is to express FeCH from cyanobacterium Synechocystis 6803 in Escherichia coli and to prepare a protocol for the purification of this protein as a highly active enzyme.
