Relative humidity effects on the electrical properties of silicone ruber
Pušec, Daniel ; Polsterová, Helena (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
At the beginning, this master thesis briefly describes the principle of semiconductors. It states their types, methods of operation, fields of use, and it interprets the manner of semiconductor devices’ passivation. Then it introduces silicones, their properties and usage. Later on, this thesis summerize air humidity theory and materiál moisturing including mathematical interpretation. Next chapter is devoted to basics of dielectric materials’ behavior. And finally, the last part of this thesis estimates charakteristics of passivation materiál, Dow Corning HIPEC Q1-9205 silicone rubber.
Engineering principles in the design of plastic products
Strnad, Jan ; Dvořáček, Jiří (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with an overview study of constructional and technological principles of plastic products. It includes characteristics and basic division of plastics by methods of application and factors affecting their properties. Except that, technological principles or methods of manufacturing and designing plastic products are mentioned. Next part is focused on principles of designing constructional components, such as chimneys, ribbings, stiffeners and many others. Final part is discussion which summarises utilization of plastics, their economic aspect or demand and production of plastics in the world and in Europe.
Organic semiconductors and their applications
Galbička, Tomáš ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is deals with a problem of organic semiconductors, where are describe fundamental principles of charge transport and explanation of basic organic structures. There is described basic operation and layering of simple organic parts especially organic diode. There are practical tests of electrical properties of two different polymer diodes PLEDs. Where in this experimental part are present characteristics of these parts and them comparison at variant ilumination and mutually measuring.
Phase-separated systems biopolymer-lipid
Kubalová, Barbora ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with experimental study of interaction based on polymer-lipid system. The main goal was to investigate interaction leading to phase separation. Three anionic polyelectrolytes were selected for this purpose: sodium hyaluronate, sodium chondroitin-6-sulfate and sodium poly(4-styrenesulfonate). The liposomes were formulated by sonication of lipid – cationic 1,2-dipalmitoyl-3-trimethylamonium-propane (chloride salt) and zwitterionic 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-phosphocholine. It was found that the phase separation occured at specific ratio of DPTAP and selected polymer. It was also explored that the strong electrostatic interaction which leads to the phase separation can be weaken by increasing the ionic strength in the sample. As we aspected the systems contain the hydrophobic domain and therefore these are able to incorporate hydrophobic substances in their structure.
Comparison of the effectiveness of the technology of welding and plastic injection
Fiedlerová, Eva ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on injection molding and welding technology of plastic materials. First, in theoretical part, are commonly described polymer materials, following by description of welding, and multi-injection molding. There are closely described different methods for chosen part. Practical part is about comparison of method according differ criteria and application suitability. At the end of the thesis there is economic estimation of methods.
Design of manufacturing technology for plastic terminal device
Adamiec, Pavel ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The master thesis deals with design to produce terminal using the plastic injection molding. In the first part are theoretical information about injection molding and injection molding with inserts. The second part is a concrete design of production terminal which contains: injection mold design, calculation of the injection parameters, machine selection, technical and economic evaluation of production. Terminal is made of polyamide 66, inserts material is brass. Parts of injection mold assembly are selected from Hasco standards. The main parts of assembly are made of 1.2312 steel. Production cycle is placed on injection machine Allrounder 375 V from Arburg.
Design of manufacturing technology for plastic lever
Adamec, Lukáš ; Orel, Daniel (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The aim of this project is to design the most suitable technology for manufacturing of the set component. The project contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with division of polymer material and the description of the technology suitable for production of the set component. The practical part concentrates on the mould design of the set component including calculations and needed technological parameters of injection moulding operation.
Polymers for health care and medicine
Jahodová, Daniela ; Ročňáková, Ivana (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses polymers that are used in medicine and healthcare. In general, it addresses the field’s already known products and their possible further research and spreading of their use. Most people imagine medical polymer applications mainly in the forms of syringes, catheters, latex gloves, and the like. This text’s goal is to point out how much potential there is in further research of the material allowing for qualities as varied as biodegradable pill coating and high resistant dental implant.
Energy Chains
Oríšek, Petr ; Julišová, Martina (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis points to the importance of energy chains in the engineering practice and the wide range of their usage. The elaboration of this topic includes presentation of various types of energy chains, information about their construction, application and history. The emphasis is put on defining the properties that the chosen material must have in order to meet all requirements for energy chain. The thesis provides general information about the materials suitable for production of the chains and their properties and presents concrete materials used in the practice. Furthermore, a part of the work is dedicated to flexible cables which are inserted to the energy chains and their properties. There is a number of companies producing energy chains worldwide. The thesis makes use of the information furnished by one of these companies.
