Design of a concrete bridge to the ČEZ substation

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a reinforced concrete bridge based on the submitted documents. The goal is the design and evaluation of two variants, from which the most suitable variant is selected and processed in detail. The selected supporting structure is designed as a reinforced concrete monolithic frame. The internal forces from the applied load are calculated using the Scia Engineer 20.0 program. The load-bearing structure is assessed for the limit state of load-bearing capacity and the limit state of usability. Dimensioning and assessment of individual parts of the supporting structure is carried out according to valid Eurocodes.
Structural design of the industrial building for increased loads

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a ceiling structure for a load of 15 kN/m2. The design was prepared on the basis of the submitted documents. A preliminary design of the structure and its elements was developed for the given problem. The structural analysis was performed in SCIA Engeneer software system (including manual control by simplified method). The result of this bachelor thesis is a static calculation and design documentation of the designed structures.

Design of a single span frame bridge

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a pedestrian bridge over a riverbed. Out of three options, a frame structure with a parabolic ramp in a single span was chosen. The load effects were calculated using the SCIA Engineer program, and the results were processed in MS EXCEL. The structure was assessed for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state. The design was made according to applicable standards and regulations.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design and assessment of the load-bearing part of the monolithic reinforced concrete structure of the guesthouse using the BIM methodology. In the bachelor thesis was carried out the calculation of loads, structural analysis of the structure and the optimal design of reinforcement. The thesis includes technical drawings of the designed elements. The structure is designed according to the valid standards ČSN EN 1992-1-1 and ČSN 73 1201.
Prestressed double-T bridge

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the design and assessment of the supporting structure of a bridge. Three variants were developed, and the most suitable one was selected from them. The chosen supporting structure of the bridge is designed as a double-T beam made of prestressed concrete with a single span of 30 meters. Midas Civil software were used for the calculation of load effects and time-dependent analysis (TDA). The design and assessment were processed according to applicable European standards.
Pedestrian bridge at Staré Hory

The subject of the bachelor´s thesis is the design of a footbridge in Staré Hory. Two footbridge designs were prepared, which were evaluated and then one of them was selected and processed in detail. The selected proposal was entered into the Midas Civil program and assessed in detail for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. The calculation was performed in the program Midas Civil, supplemented by manual calculations in MS Exel. The calculation procedure was carried out according to valid standards and regulations.
Slab bridge

Bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a road bridge over the Volyňka river. Three bridging variants were proposed, of which the bridge variant, whose supporting structure consists of an additional pre-stressed concrete slab, was chosen for subsequent detailed assessment. The variation with prestressed prefabricated girders with composite slab is chosen for more detailed assessment. Detailed structural design is made and selected parts of the construction are checked for ultimate and serviceability limit state by Eurocode. Calculation of load is made by manual way and then by exact way with program Scia Engineer 22. The results from both calculation methods are then compared. Detailed drawings and visualization are made as well.
Apartment Building - Design of Selected Reinforced Concrete Elements

The bachelor thesis is focused on the continuous static solutions of monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling construction and the three-flight staircase in the five-storied apartment house. The entire structure is designed from concrete. To determine the effects of internal forces used computational design of Scia Engineer 2013.1. Assessment of the elements is performed by the first limit state. Work includes developing a static calculation, design reinforcement drawings, shapes and reinforcement drawings solved elements.
