Recultivation of landscape is necessary process, which goes hand in hand with mineral exploitation. Devastated landscape is recovered back to the stage before exploitation as much as possible, which means that the biological factors are restored. Recultivation creates aestetically and functionally useful landscape, which fits in surrounding biosphere and is able to serve for hunanity and nature again.
Influence of Uranium Mining on the Environment of the Ždár nad Sázavou Region

Thema in aim of this bachelor thesis is mining of uranium ore and its impal on the environment of the Dolní Rožínka area. The first part is focused on a knowledge summary of mineralogical and geological overview, which limits are examined area and characterises uranium bearings in Rožná. It is dealt also with the history of uranium mining and oves a brief technological activities in processing of the raw uranium under responsible company of DIAMO, represented by the GEAM Dolní Rožínka. Furthermore some specific aspects of activities are described in a relation to rehabilitation and recultivational measures in afected area of Dolní Rožínka. Second part is dealt to individual aspects of negativ impal on environment and the risk some radionuclids escaping into surounded nature, especially a local waters, the air and the soil and ganges within suroundings with secondary formativ of ecosystems. This is a demonstrativ that meaning of uranium has an impal on helth miners and employees of chemical department as well as locals. The last part of thesis presents the possibilities of implementation of the studied topic in Primary School education. Těžba nerostných surovin představuje, společně s dalšími antropogenními aktivitami, jeden z nejzásadnějších zásahů do krajiny. Těžební činností dochází často ke zničení či poškození hodnotných stanovišť a geologických lokalit, ale také ke vzniku nových stanovišť a biotopů, jejichž vznik úzce souvisí nejen se samotnou těžební činností, ale také s následnou rekultivací a revitalizací krajiny.

Diploma thesis deals with landscape reclamation in areas influenced by underground mining of mineral resources. The aim of diploma thesis is to create a study of selected areas reclamation. Within the model area was developed the concept of the integration of the surroundings and the functional use of reclaimed areas. Subsequently were designed the vegetation modifications leading to ensure the harmonious function of the territory. The focus is placed on the vegetation elements with different functions, establishment methods and species composition corresponding to the specific site conditions. There were formulated recommendations for subsequent care based on vegetation modifications with an emphasis on achieving the prescribed goal of creating a harmonious landscape with subsequent recreational use.
The brown coal exploitation a recultivation impact on socioeconomic development of District Sokolov

This diploma thesis deals with revitalization of landscape and recultivation in Sokolov region. In its first part the paper deals with socioeconomic analysis of region Sokolov. The main task of this analysis is, evaluate present progress of this region. It also describes history of brown coal mining in brown coal field of Sokolov region and negative effect for landscape. Next chapters of this thesis show: recultivation in general, project documentation, financing arrangements, company Sokolovská uhelná a.s. and its privatisation. One of the most important parts of this diploma thesis deals with recultivation in Sokolov region and description of particular locations in this region. The last part gives an evaluation of socioeconomic developmet in dependence on recultivation in Sokolov region.
